I don't think hurting animals is nice at all. Hunting is one thing but just shooting something for entertainment isn't right.

I agree.  I thought the comments about scaring off the neighbor's annoying cat were funny, though.  They weren't advocating actual killing.

I'm not gonna stop looking at this thread, and I don't think it's "ruined."

So I the new MacBook Pro is out. Discuss.
Personally, I think it's beautiful and totally want one. But there's no way I'd be able to afford it. I'll just stick with my 7 Plus for the time being (switched again, I know. It's not arrived just yet though).

You aren't a fan of Eggplant and their ePhones and their MECs. You'd much rather have something prone to crashes that is actually functionally useful, and doesn't need to be upgraded to a new model every 3 months. Besides, Eggplant products are too expensive for your deep web exploits, and if anything gets hacked, you'd rather it be something cheap.

Meh, Apple's overrated. It's too hard to install anything good on macs, the user interface is good for phones and tablets, but absolutely terrible for a full size PC, and they go out of date too fast. To top it all off, something like a Windows Desktop is much more powerful and easier to use anyway.

Also, I'm not a fan of the more modern "Slimmer, lighter, touchscreen" models. They don't have enough space for good hardware.

It looks like the old one with a bar on the keyboard.

More powerful, maybe, per dollar. That said, there are quite a lot of people that would take severe umbrage with your claims about the interface.

You can't reasonably say that Windows is "easier to use", as if it's an objective fact. From my experience, I can say that using Windows makes me stir-crazy and that I have to return to OS X periodically, like a diver returning to the surface for oxygen, to get any work done. ;) The truth is, different people have different experiences.

Objectively, ease of use has been what Apple's built their brand on for the last 30+ years, and they haven't lost that reputation (though whether they should have or not is certainly open for debate; I've never been entirely comfortable with OS X's Unix underpinnings).

That's your opinion!

From my experience, Apple products are good for nice looking, functional device, but they have had application support. I'd like to get a Windows computer or some such non-Apple device just so I can game easier.

Trying to figure out what to say on somebody's birthday (not any of y'all's). I want it to be great, like them, without it sounding too worshipful.
