Tater tots? Psh, who needs them. Here in Australia, we have Potato Gems!

I hope they're better than Vegemite... ::)

Vegemite is Amazing! If you foreigners would stop eating it directly out of the jar and instead spread it on toast, then you wouldn't think we were mad for liking it. Gosh! :p

Wylder Treejumper

@Groddil: Who eats it out of a jar? That would be more foul than I can even imagine. I've had it spread on toast- and toasted bagels, because my Aussie friend swore it was best that way- and it tastes something like what I imagine *cough* petrol would taste like.

Wylder Treejumper

Not much. She spread it, not me.

Vegemite ranks up there with alfalfa sprouts, as one of those things I can't eat...

You know people from different countries have different palettes, due to genetics and stuff, and that's why you'll find disparities like this on a such a large level. Like how hardly any Americans like Nuttela, or vegemite *Shudders* Whereas other nations like Australia love it.

Granted there are always exceptions to the rule.

Marmite.
I've had Marmite!  It's a thing in New Zealand too, and my dad likes it.  It's a bit weird, but alright if you spread it thin on toast.
