@Jet Haha I started the dub of Free! but couldn't get into the story. I do actually watch for the story, maybe that's my problem. :D

Tatum's an excellent Sebastian (yes, you're right), bringing something a lot different to the role than Daisuke Ono (who is also a great Sebastian), and he does a great job as Isaac in Baccano!, Nagi in Deadman Wonderland, Erwin in Attack on Titan, and Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I don't know how his fake British accent will sound to you, though, as you have the real thing. I recommend Black Butler, still, when you have the time. I love the story.

The story of Free! is actually the reason I love it so much. The characters are so well developed and the series is heartbreaking.

The dub characters are completely different to the actual characters by the way. The only character who even slightly uses dudebro terms is Sousuke. Maybe Seijuro too, now that I think of it.

Okay, I'll give it another chance. Subbed.

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

Cellars has the most posts out of any topic, be cool if that could be character or general discussion, just a thought, those boards should be way more active, find a topic there, post on it, wait, someone else posts on it, repeat.

The Skarzs

See, thing is, us long-time forumers have pretty much burnt ourselves out with the discussions. On the old forum, there were years' worth of topics in the discussion boards from when people were much more atuned to it, and had questions. Now, however, we're getting older and more mature, and have found answers to most of our questions be it through past inquiries, or looking futher into it ourselves, or even using age-given logic to connect the dots.
Don't get me wrong, I love the series, and it will always be one of my favorites. But at this point, it's the community that I get more enjoyment out of, rather than discussing the books.

Still, certain boards could use more activity, like the fan works and roleplaying, since, in my opinion, it's a great way to interract as well as connect with the series.

Once more, a reference to my newness, though I am younger than y'all so that makes me different, though my polling topic seems to have had some success

Redwall online sites, forums, etc. were most active from the mid to late 90s I think. Then by the early 2000s it essentially died off- now a days this is the only forum that remains, at least as far as I could find. So you basically have over a decade of low levels of activity. Now this is a surprising trend because from the early 2000s up until 2011- B. Jacques wrote a number of new novels. Even following his death, the books are still being sold and read. Given that the internet was in its infancy in the 90s and that it has significantly taken off since then, and continues to grow, one would expect that the online community would as well. Yes old fans grow up but new ones also come of age. The only reason I could see that this trend happened is that sales of Redwall books in the post 2000s have significantly fallen compared to the 90s. But I have no idea how many Redwall books were/are sold per year...

Legend of Korra Season 4
Season 4 of Korra is unimaginably stupid thus far. Kuvira is a total sociopath and if she doesn't die I'll be very angry, but back to the point, someone like Kuvira could never rise to power. Hitler won people over with his charisma, Stalin with force. But Kuvira started with neither of those things. Everything about her screams "evil" and always has. She is a block of ice, and it's so obvious that she's a dictator that the United Republic would have stopped her before she ever got this far.

And people were saying Kuvira had a good motivation. Like Hades she does. She's just a power mad disgusting creature. I've literally growled at the screen and told characters to snap her neck. It would be so easy, and it's obvious that she deserves it. I get that Su couldn't do it because of their history, but any other metalbender could. I absolutely despise this mantis. Amon, Unalaq and Zaheer at least started reasonable and you could understand them. But Kuvira has no redeeming qualities whatsoever and her motivation would make no sense at all if it was her actual motivation.

I could rage for years about this contemptible beast. She can get locked in the deepest pits of Tartarus and take that insect Baatar with her.

Bolin is such an idiot for signing on with this monster.
