It's a game (well, obviously), "Infinite Space: Sea of Stars". It's still in development, and I've started working on what might be the first mod for it.

Yeah, I worked for quite a few hours last night and this morning trying to figure out how to get the game to read the new background images. Fun with file formats.

Random observation: Indians (Native Americans) in Westerns seem to follow the Inverse Ninja Law. A lone Indian scout is far more dangerous to a hero than any size of war band could ever hope to be.
