OOC: Well, lemme see... it's afternoon now, I suppose they could leave under the cover of darkness. So, we can get the pleasantries over and supper over, then we go.

BIC: Ari turned back to his tea and took a sip, smiling contentedly. "Mmm, our Friar really knows what he is doing when he makes this tea."

Longear nodded, "Indeed."

Lapor Rae shuffled across a clearing in Mossflower, bruised and depressed, the mouse had told her no matter how many times she threw herself from the trees she would never fly. One of her wings didn't connect to her body the way it should, so she couldn't get the required lift from it.

Ari finished his tea and walked over to the pond. Putting his valuables on the shore, he jumped into the water. "Ahh!" That felt very good to him. He floated on his back and closed his eyes. He continued floating there in contentment until it started to get dark. The bells chimed out the evening hour. Ari climbed out of the pond and picked up his belongings. He turned to his friends. "Well, shall we go get dinner?"
Adam nodded. "I am starting to get a little bit hungry. I think some supper sounds very good!"
Ari and Adam started walking towards the Abbey.

OOC: Sorry that I made it dark so quickly, but I'd like to get this moving along a little bit.

Ari smiled and turned to Adam. "I think somebeast is hungry, don't you?"
Adam laughed and flew to the door. He opened it for Ari and Longear.

Ari and Adam walked inside and went into Cavern Hole. They were seated and waited for the food. The food came, and they helped themselves to it.
Adam had never tasted such good food. He was perched in his chair, dipping his beak into all sorts of things. "This is delicious!" he remarked.
Ari nodded, his whiskers caked in Deeper'n'Ever Turnip'n'Tater'n'Beetroot Pie. "Yes, our Friar and his friends do know what they are doing."

OOC: Okay, I'm going to try and get this moving again!

BIC: The evening grew dark as the Redwallers and guests feasted on the wonderful food. Soon, their eyes grew heavy and they decided to get some rest.
Ari woke before dawn and picked up his belongings, stepping out of his room. He went to his friends' rooms and knocked quietly on the doors, trying to wake them up. He had decided during the night that he wanted to travel. He wanted to travel and make music. He couldn't think of better companions than them to come along.
Adam was already awake and walked up to Ari. "What are you doing?" he whispered.
Ari explained his idea to Adam, who brightened up. "I say we do it!"
"Shh!" Ari held a claw to his lips, willing the owl to be silent. Adam realized his mistake and whispered, "Sorry."

Winstral had heard somebeast shout. Slowly creeping up on the pair she listened into their conversations. Eager to join she stepped out of the shadows to join the two beasts.
"Do you think that you might like to add another beast to this musical group?" Winstral asked hopefully.

Zella came along just in time to hear Winstral's last words. 'Did someone say 'musical group'?' she asked. 'I could help.'

Ari's face brightened immediately at the fact that some other beasts wanted to do it. "Alright," he whispered, "you two can join us. I have thought of a few others, and I am waiting to see if they want to join as well. I am currently in the process of waking them up."

OOC: By the beasts he wants to join, I mean all of the other characters that are coming along. So, even if I don't name you, please still come!
