  Ari laughed and said, "Well, we have a family of wildcats living here.  I do not believe that you could say a fox is much worse than about five wildcats."

"Oh, I'm just stopping here for the food and ale. I plan to leave after winter."

Makani stood in the distance, hearing the majority of the conversation.  He decided he'd best add his opinion to this debate.  "Who cares wether wildcats and foxes are normally vermin?!? 'Tis the inside that counts, and don't let anybeast tell you otherwise."

"Here, here!" Longear said raising his beaker.

  "It is as you say," said Ari.  "But I do have one question to ask:  Who is the beast that has just spoken?  Apparently we have a lot of visitors!"

[W0NWILL]

"That'd be me." Longear raised his beaker.

[Rainshadow]

  Ari rolled his eyes.  "Not you, Longear, the beast in the forest.  The one who stated the very true fact of how it does not matter what species you are.  It is what is on the inside that matters."

[W0NWILL]

"I had just spoken! You can't blame me for answering!"

[Rainshadow]

  Ari sighed.  "Yes, you are right.  I am sorry."

[W0NWILL]

Longear nodded icily, "Good."

[SpiderMonkey]

"Me?  I've lived here all my life, you just greeted me in the kitchen.  We better get you checked for amnesia!" Makani replied.

  "Sorry," said Ari.  "I am very forgetful."

[SpiderMonkey]

"No problem, I'm kind of beat up and exhausted right now, I probably look like a wreck."

[Rainshadow]

  "Yes," Ari agreed.  "You might want to take a bath."  Immediately a Dibbun shouted out, "If ya don't take a baff, Farver H'abbot's gonna choppa you tail off!"
  Ari fixed his icy glare on the Dibbun, who quietly slunk off.

"I chop off naughty dibbun tails all the time.  They taste 'specially good with hotroot soup on the side."  The dibbun took off abruptly.  "Ha," Makani chuckled. "dibbuns are too naive these days."
