Ooh, Gurren Lagann. I'm trying to decide whether to watch Death Note, Code Geass or Gurren Lagann next. At the moment I'm leaning towards Death Note. By the way Rain, is Kamina as awesome as they say?

  @Jet-kun:  I've only seen the first two episodes of Gurren Lagann, but I can definitely say that Kamina is awesome.  He reminds me of Dirk Strider in many ways, the main three being the fact that he has the shades, he has a katana, and he is the "older brother" of Simon.  The fact that Simon calls him "bro" just adds to the effect.

Even if it wasn't my genre, I'd still read so that when people asked "What're you reading?" I could say, "Oh, just this book a friend of mine wrote and published.  You can borrow it when I'm through."

It depends on what it is, but most likely not. As you might know, I'm very (perhaps overly) concerned about my "image", so I wouldn't likely do anything like that without a very good reason. (Maybe not even then.)

Would you ever adopt children?

Yes, I would.  I'd really like to adopt when I'm significantly older.  I can't have my own, and I currently don't want to have my own anyway.  I don't know if this will change later in my life.  The world is overpopulated and there are many children who wish for families.  I would like to adopt internationally to give girls from developing countries the opportunities that I had that they probably would not have had otherwise.

I don't know why I was tearing up reading the would you ever question Banya posted, though. Maybe it affects me, or maybe the piano music I'm listening to is affecting me (River Flows in You, recommend it a lot) or both.

That sounds idealistic. I have considered that, but what the heck. I don't even know what my silly talents are. Oh well, there are worse problems to have.
