"Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man." "New Year's Day is every man's birthday." "The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals."

"Excellent creatures, cystypigs. Don't know how people used to survive without these genetic wonders of porcine succulence. Slaughtering a pig for meat instead of harvesting tumors that ripen naturally, falling off the flesh like mock-apples off a tree, seems the height of barbarity. Truly a miracle of modern science!"

Keep calm and wait for the coffee to brew.
Infant Ebby is a smol, out-of-control firebending terror. It's a good thing she's also quite cute.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

"A man has only one death. That death may be as weighty as Mount Tai, or it may be as light as a goose feather. It all depends upon the way he uses it ... It is the nature of every man to love life and hate death, to think of his relatives and look after his wife and children. Only when a man is moved by higher principles is this not so. Then there are things that he must do ... The brave man does not always die for honor, while even the coward may fulfill his duty."

-Sima Qian

"Well, there I was so awfully dead in that electric chair. I didn't like it. Would you? It's upsetting. There was still so much killing to do, and there I was, in the void, without a body. But then along came - well - you know. My friend. One of them. Those others over there. The cruel ones... the Master. And he thought my work should continue. But in this body. This body in particular, in fact. Let's call it revenge. A certain matter of an exorcism, I think, in which your friend Father Karras expelled certain parties from the body of a child. Certain parties were not pleased, to say the least. The very least. And so, my friend, the Master, he devised this pretty little scheme as a way of getting back, of creating a stumbling block, a scandal, a horror to the eyes of all men seeking faith, using the body of this saintly priest as an instrument of, well, you know - my work. But the main thing is the torment of your friend Father Karras as he watches while I rip and cut and mutilate the innocent, his friends, and again, and again, on and on! He is inside with us! He will never get away! His pain won't end!"

Y'know, I read some of the KH: DDD quotes and I honestly can't remember them.

Oh, and I found the Lincoln quote I was paraphrasing.

"Stand with anybody that stands for right. Stand with him while he is right and part with him when he goes wrong.
I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?

Families never say goodbye. Just see you soon.
(this is special for me, seeing as a lot of my extended family live on the other side of the world  ^-^)

"I will run and not grow weary, I will walk and will not faint, I will soar on wings like eagles', find my rest in your everlasting Name."
I think this is a verse in Isiah, but if not then I don't know in which part of the Bible it is found.

I have a mild rant about that verse.
Spoiler
The passage is from Isaiah, as best as I can tell, but it reads, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isa. 40:31). Yours sounds like the NIV version of the verse.

Yeah, I think the first part is quite important. It's quite a well-known verse but some people take it the wrong way and push themselves too hard, then blame God when they crash. God's promises are always reliable, if they're applied as intended.

Yes, my Bible is NIV. I don't know if it is the exact wording though. That was from memory.
Edit: The version you posted is better, I think.
