I am in Marching Band (High School). I play Bass Drum. I am normally a Percussionist

My high school didn't have a marching band; we were a really tiny school.  We had the regular band class that would do 3 concerts per year, and if we were in band we were also required to play at football games and stuff (just in the bleachers, no marching around or wearing special uniforms or anything.)  There's also the town Labor Day parade every year which is totally voluntary for any community member - student, alumni, whatever - we just ride on a big long truck and play.  I played flute and piccolo in band.

Really awkward moment when you sneeze five times right when every one stops playing. Good thing it was only practice.

I play flute and piccolo! ^.^
and I used to be in marching band, when I was in a school with a bunch of people in band. But now I'm in a school with only a few people in band, so no.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

I'm not in a Marching Band, but my cousin is. She's been in a couple parades with her school.

I'm not in it, but our town's high school recently hosted a marching band tournament.  It was pretty cool, especially as my town's performance was all based on the supposed 2012 apocalypse.  I thought everyone did good, and it was interesting to watch.

MY show is on the 2012 apocalypse! It is called predictions. Do you live in East Tennessee?

No, sorry.
At one point during the performance all the players screamed and fell over.  :D
