I personally dislike Cregga.

Well, tell us why you love and dislike Cregga, 'cause I have no idea why you don't like Cregga. I'm sorta neutral about Cregga, she was great when she was blind, she was a natural mother, and witty, but when she could see, she just wasn't the character you could fall in love with(figuratively), like Rakkety Tam and Martin.

Oh, and you spelled sure wrong. Just to point that out.

Cregga is one of those characters that actually span a couple of books, so that makes her unique.  I don't see how anyone can dislike Cregga, but go ahead Tam, I'd like to hear why you dislike her.

I liked her when she was at Redwall more than when she was a Badger Ruler, because there she was completely Bloodwrath-crazed.  When she was at Redwall, she was calm and friendly and loved to help everybody out.

I didn't like her in The Long Patrol because she was just a headkicking idiot, but in Marlfox and Taggerung she was really nice.

The reason we dislike Cregga is mainly because of how she acted in The Long Patrol towards her hares like the one time she wouldn't let Algador in and didn't really seemed concerned about them in battle. She seemed to be very tempermental later on and always seemed a bit mean and snappy to everybody like Boorab (even though he was a hare). She is better in Marlfox and Taggerung and even wise, but we think she is still a bit mean. We understand people like her but we personally do not for those reasons. 
The one reason I (Martin) do like her is because of how she lived through so many books and was kind of an epic herself like some have pointed out. I dislike her general behaviour towards others the most.

I think BJ must have liked her because he put her in so many books. Personally, I think those books would not have been complete without her presence.

Same character.  After she was blinded in battle, she left Salamandastron and became the Badgermum at Redwall.
