National Novel Writing Month

Is anyone else going to do it? It's in November, in the states. What are you going to write? As for me, I have no idea what I'm going to write just yet, but I'll for sure post it here.

You have to write a novel in the month of November, this is my first year doing it, I think you enter it in a contest or something.

Sure is Tiria. You live in Sydney, don't you? Because then this is your group. Mine is in Perth, but I don't think I'll do it formally, I'll just do it for fun without signing up for anything. That is, if I decide to do it, which I haven't yet. I haven't come up with a very good idea for a storyline yet, but if I do I'll probably do it.

I've meant do do this every year since I was in high school, but I never finished anything. I'm thinking of giving it a go this time, though!

You can sign up at the website. It's free, and even if you do sign up there's no pressure to do anything. If you like writing you should give it a go. I've heard it can be a lot of fun, if somewhat stressful.

Since I'm out of work, I've been spending my time writing my novel anyway, so maybe Ill take November to really kick it into high gear and make some serious progress.

I really should do this, since I've been seriously neglecting my novel lately...but I'm so busy, I dunno that I'll actually get anything done...
