I remember feeling old when I turned 16. Now I'll be 18 in only 8 months. I'm going to be an adult soon! Or maybe just a dolt- no wait, I'm one of those already...

Just because you're a teenager doesn't mean you're a kid (or a goat), back in bible times, 12 was considered adulthood.

Even today, 12 year olds (or younger) can be legally married in some countries and cultures. In many cases it's an arranged marriage by the girl's parents and often to a much older man.
