Its not impossible to join in if you haven't read Welkin, but its a different animal than Redwall....so it may seem a bit odd at first if we really try to stay faithful to the source material.  A lot of things come out from nowhere.

If we can go between the two triologies and make it happen, lets go for that.  Choose characters based on which books you've read and have some familiarity with the character.  As crazy as it may sound, I think danflorreguba can play a really good Scirf or Prince Poynt.

I think we'll just have to ignore the fact that there's going to be a difference in time.  Maybe there's some doozy magic out there in the forests of Welkin.   We aren't going to have a choice.
