From the beginning I thought they were the perfect couple!  :)
I think that if they got married it might destroy their friendship  :-\

I've always thought that Matthais might be part of their line.

So did I, my fan lineage of him has Dandin as his great, great grandad

I think they might have coped being maried to each other.
This would make a great poll!

Not necessarily. A lot of couples remained just friends and then they made the next move. It could work for them

The Redwall books don't really say anything about Matthais's ancestors.

I think they did end up together, but not that Matthias is part of their line.

If they were to get married, and later on one of there offspring is a hero, BJ would have made it clear.

Unless they weren't a hero and just a normal redwaller, then there wouldn't have been anything special to write about

I know, but what IF Matthias was a decendint of Mariel and Dandin? If this was the case, BJ would have sertinly have made it known to the reader.

I think they got married because you could kinda see it happening in the Bellmaker. BEsides they know everything about eachother and didn't have the same relationship as Bragoon and Saro did.
Fun. is a fantastic band.

Not necessarily
Why not? Whats the point of having a hole thing about decendints if you don't make it known to the reader?
