Best Movie/Game/Book of the Year?

With just around 13 days left out of this year, I realize I'm cutting the cake a bit short, but hey, it's cool

So tell me what you guys think?

I really can't say much about movies.. seeing as I totally MISSED the Avengers, Dark Knight Rising, and now the Hobbit. But now that I think about it, Prometheus was the great movie I got to see of 2012.

Definately Halo 4 for me. Not because of the multiplayer, but because of the storyline. I'm a pretty avid Halo fan

I thought Star Corpsman: Blood World was a great book. It's about humanity in a futuristic setting where a navy doc and a group of space Marines are sent to a hellish planet. Good read

Best  movie of the year: The Odd Life of Timothy Green (I loved the cast and the storyline was great. Of course, my opinion could change to Life of Pi once I see that movie.)

Best game of the year: I don't know (I only play computer strategy games, do those count?)

Best book of the year: I don't know on this either. I'd better read a 2012 book and decide!

Best book of the year: I dunno, since I haven't read any book of this year.

It can be any game, Redwallfan I love computer strategy games, too. Command and Conquer for the win! Hahah and I can't forget about Rome: Total War, Star Wars: Empire at War, or Supreme Commander, either.

  Best game:  Well, it's not new this year, but it did get a huge update, so does that count?  LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online)

  Best book:  I have no clue.  Well, I am pretty excited to read The Mark of Athena, so...

Ohh, nice topic. Here are my choices:

Best book of the year: The Fault in our Stars by John Green. If you read it, be sure to have tissues close by.

Best movie: This is hard. I think it'll have to be a tie between The Avengers and The Hobbit for me. I haven't seen Les Miserables yet, so I can't say anything about that.

Best game: I didn't play many games this year, and the ones that I did play were all pretty old, so I don't have a choice for this category.

Movie: At the moment, The Dark Knight Rises. That was a fantastic movie, definitely blew my expectations. Although I hope The Hobbit takes this place when it is finally released in Australia. EDIT: Yep, finally managed to see it, The Hobbit wins.

Book: I haven't read any books from 2012 this year!

Game: Probably Halo 4, which I played at a friends house but am yet to buy myself (although I have practically all the other Halo games). LEGO Lord of the Rings was pretty boring to me which was disappointing.

I've changed my mind, I just saw Life of Pi in theaters today, and it's awesome!!! I so want to read the book now!
