Hey, I take that in slight offence. I am not any rambunctious child or fiendish amateur who just got a shiny new toy. A machete is a tool, and should be respected by using it for the purpose it was meant for. While you may have only been poking fun, it isn't funny that you might hint that I used it improperly.

  No, no, I meant it in the way that I wouldn't think to ask of a machete for Christmas.  I mean, my cousin, on the other hand, would (seriously, he got bullets one year!), but I wouldn't.  Just saying that it sounds like it would be an interesting thing to see.

  Okay, this is probably gonna be a bit off topic, but I have a funny story about how my cousin got bullets for Christmas...

  So, every year, we have a gift exchange in my extended family.  We get someone's name, and we have to buy a present for them and give it to them at the Christmas party.  It's rather fun, and that way everyone gets at least one present.

  Well, one year, my uncle got my cousin's name, who's a hunter.  Now, my uncle is quite a funny guy.  He'll play pranks on pretty much everyone.  He's my favourite uncle, of course.    So, each year, he'd somehow get my brother and would prank him.  This year he put a small present in a HUUUUUUUUGE box and duct taped it shut (in small strips so you couldn't just unwrap it) before handing it to my brother.  And he took his pocket knife away so it couldn't be cut open. 

  But that's beside the point.  So, my uncle got my cousin's name and wanted to get him bullets.  He took a long cardboard tube (like a paper towel roll, only longer) and filled it with shredded paper (like confetti) and bullets.  Then he duct taped it shut (in small strips) and took my cousin's pocket knife away.  The poor guy probably spent ten minutes trying to unwrap it, then spent another ten to twenty minutes trying to find all the bullets.  Seriously, the WHOLE FAMILY got on their hands and knees and started digging through the paper, trying to find all the bullets.  It was HILARIOUS! 

  (And, just saying, that wasn't the worst prank my uncle did.  One year he got my brother's name (I seriously think he rigs the system, 'cause he almost always gets my brother ) and bought him a computer bag.  He stuck it in a box, duct taped the box shut, wrapped the box in thick wire, then wrapped it in wrapping paper.  Needless to say, it took forever to open.  My grandpa had to go find his wire cutters.  It was awesome.  )

I paid for half of it so yeah. . . I have two others, one from my grandpa. He was in the Korean War, and he gave me his M1 .30 Carbine. He died a long time ago, though.
