Right, so tell me if you know what I'm talking about here. You love Redwall, it's extremely awesome, you wanna talk about it- and you don't have any friends who have ever even heard of it. you friends, family, everyone has no interest in it. NEVER EVEN HEARD OF IT!

Romsca

Well a lot of my friends think they're children's books or "I read the first one when I was younger"

You bet! They look at me as if I were talking about Dora the Explorer  >:(

My friends just call them those books when they see me reading one.

Well, being in the province of Quebec, I don't know anyone that knows about the Redwall series in Canada. But I have one friend in the USA that read them all(he introduced me to the series).

Funny thing, with Redwall, you're either a huge fan, or you've never given the books a chance. At least, that's my POV, I've never met anyone who read them and didn't like them.
EDIT: Or, nobody ever told you about it. I was being a little close-minded and harsh, forgive me.
DOUBLE EDIT: is the cellars the right place for this thread? should it be on the lawns or in cavern hole?

I have lots (well a few) that like Redwall, and two of my friends that didn't know about it, I gave them each a book. On I gave The Long Patrol and the other I gave Loamhedge.

Yah. none of my friends have read it, or are at all interested in it. I randomly quote it to them, and they're like "what the heck are you talking about". I mean, it should be perfectly obvious, EUULAAAALIIIIAAAAAAA! is a pretty distinctive battlecry.....

WarriorOfMossflower

Oh yes. I constantly beg them to read it, but they never listen.
In process of rekindling my love for Redwall.

I let my friends and family have their own opinions about it. Whether they love the books or hate them isn't a concern of mine. To each their own, but I might recommend it to my cousins. The books seem like their style.

My sister hates Redwall, and most of my friends are not a fan of it or haven't even heard of it.  I do have a few friends that like Redwall, but most don't even know what it is.  :(

I think you have to be a fan of talking animals and anthropomorphism to like and understand the Redwall books.

I've never really talked about it with most of my friends 'cause they're not into reading much.  One of my friends loved it when I introduced the series to her, one friend said he tried it but it didn't hold his interest.  I've been trying for years to get my sister into it but she refuses.  (She did the same with Warriors, The Hunger Games, Pirates of the Caribbean.... she likes all those now, but still won't try Redwall.  I've tried playing the audiobooks when she's around but that still didn't get her interested.)
