You didn't put Russa's Stick from the Long Patrol

That would fall under the category of Quarterstaff of Quarterstave. And that should be on the poll.

Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

A sling and a staff, because they have more uses than just weapons. They can be many more things than a mace or war hammer can. ;)

this vote is quite popular  ;D

Banya Streamdog

I voted long bow, dirk, and chain mace.
EEEE AYE EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

I also liked the dirk, but I liked the Broad sword and the Otter javilin better.

Life is too short to rush through it.

I voted what I thought were the most tactical weapons in battle. Looking back at the list, I think I should have taken one of them out, and replaced it with Sling.

Flail ("Chain mace"); Unpredictable, this weapon puncture plat steel and wrap around spears, sword hilts, mace grips, whatever. Also, besides being extremely fast if wielded correctly, it can bend over the top of shields and strike the opponent.
Dagger; Perfect for sneak attacks, easily hidden, can be deadly when thrown, easily carried, has other uses besides a weapon. What else can I say? Great weapon.  ;)
War Hammer; Yes, almost certainly the least impractical of all the weapons, I mainly choose it out of personal choice. However, its great in combat if you know how to handle it. Perfect for an opponent wearing plate armor. Use the hammer piece to smash your incased enemy, and then reverse it, and use the spiked end to drive it through his head...

Sorry, I'm getting a little bit carried away now. Anyway, those were my choices.  ;D
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

It is well known that 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I used to leave out half my sentances, but now I

Thats a pretty broad view you've got on Redwall weapons, Shade...

those are some good reasons but have you looked at the opposite side of the scale.  Both the hammer and the flail are extremely heavy and really useless when fighting some one with long range weapons like sling or bow. and the dagger really isn't good in hand to hand combat with some one with a longer blade.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?
