I am really good at making a general plot line, but always end up making it really... thin.

That's always the hard part. It seems like a lot of people never finish their writing, or it sort of dies out as it goes on. Sometimes I like to just take a break and come back to it after a while and then I approach my writing with a fresh mind again

I have good ideas, but I have to find a way to convey them, that's the hard part for me.

@Jett. Wow, if that happened to me, I'd go into depression for several days.

I would be too if I weren't reasonably certain they'll be easy to recover

Welp I'm writing two new stories, I intend them both to be standalones but the first is big enough that I might have to expand it into a duology.

The first, Lightborn Academy (name pending) is about a group of orphaned homeless children who were taken in by Arthur Lightborn, the master of the academy, and taught how to fight and use magic as well as other normal school stuff. Some of them choose to stay at the academy as a home, working for Lightborn to hunt down rogue magic users and monsters. The main villain of the story is Marcus Darkwing, the rogue sorcerer who was once Lightborn's most trusted friend. There are several main characters including: David Banewood, Michael, Thomas Hunter, James Rainford, Anastasia Hunter (Thomas' cousin), Dane Blacklight (who goes by his first name only as he doesn't like to associate with his jerk of an older brother), Callista Thornwrought, her brother Robert, Julian Greymere, Juliet Shadestep, Megan Archer and the twin sisters, Holly and Emily Cartwright. There are three secondary antagonists, David's brother Alexander, Dane's brother Andreth and Roxanne Lightborn, the stuck up niece of Master Lightborn. None of the three secondary antagonists are evil per se but Alex resents his brother, Andreth does his level best to make Dane's life hell and Roxanne is stuck up and throws her privilege in everyone's faces. (No the thing about both characters whose names begin with D having bad older brothers whose names begin with A was not intentional)

The other story I'm working on doesn't currently have a title but it's about an incubus named Kosume who falls in love with one of the people whose life essence he is feeding off, romance and sadness ensues

*Revives thing* These all sound really cool... I wonder if anyone's finished them, as this was five years ago?

42 ~ Seb's Humility ~ Seb's toothbrush ~ Seb's soul ~ Half a Plane ~ Your Toothbrush ~ A creeping anxiety every time you look at your toothbrush ~ Pure Terror every time you look at your toothbrush ~ Death every time you look at your toothbrush

I had to move everything off the list but the bare essentials to make way for this:

I am currently writing two books, on I'm almost done with and another which is going to be 400-500 pages long. I recently just finished my poem and short story, which I plant to tie in with some of my other writings.

Well... I may or may not have and actually got it to 588 pages, so lil' 2014 Gonff wasn't too far off ;D

I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

How? I'm terrible at finishing things. I usually abandon them before chapter five... *Stares at Gonff in awe and amazement*

Well, to bestow my totally-gonna-work 100% work-for-all knowledge, I just kept at it. I did start in 6th grade and finished before my senior year and all but I just had a story to tell and really wanted to see it done. I know that doesn't mean much, but, well  ;D

It actually means a lot. Don't sell yourself short.

The next question is when can I buy it?

Oh, well thank you for that.

Weeeellll, I kinda got 41 chapters left to edit, so that may be a while. However, I know for a fact I will get it out there in some way.
