Rocks to throw down or bolders to push down? Bolders might be risky if we have peopleon the ground, but I think we should totally have a couple just in case.

yeah, and bolders might block the cave entrences, but larg rocks would work. I was also thinking of a catapult like the ones in the movie The Kingdom of Heaven that would be ontop of the cliff to shoot at the ships.

I would think we don't need to build a wall because we already have disguised enterances built in the aftermath of the first slaughter. We could be shoring up the defenses, but my question is how much of this would we be doing not knowing about danger on the horizon. I mean, such is the nature of living on the north coast, there are always enemies, but what makes sense for us to be doing?

@Ceteruler (and everybody, really) Yeah, my character may not seem extremely friendly at first, which is why I think she could use a friend like Spera to bring out the happier side. I was totally cracking up at the similarities between our characters, Ceteruler. Of course, it was midnight and everything is funny at midnight. However, your character has me thinking I need to be 30 or so. I want to wait and see how old Timballisto is...

well, it's probably funny in the weird way, not the haha way. :p we'll just have to see, hm?

Hey guys, sorry I'm a bit late to the discussion. I like the whole shoring-up-the-defenses thing, but we haven't really discussed how much we're going to know about the Blood Spine at the point where we start the story. So...opinions?

Well, out there on the coast, vermin ships come all the time. So we make the defenses for who ever shows up.

I guess, we could have a look out, and they see the ship at the beging of the RP. And I belive Fire Swingers can also be used by good beasts, give the vermin some of their own medicine.
