Norham Waterpaw

Norham sat talking with Melvin, telling him where he got that "purty" tune.
"My mother taught that song to me. I've forgotten the words, but the tune is unforgettable."
Norham looked over to see Vash heading for melvin. "Ah, Melvin, I think Vash needs ya a moment."

Algemas sat weeping over the arrow ridden body of his brother, Olgemas. Olgemas was the rat that was guarding Norham's cage when he escaped, and Norham used him as an easy way to get an arrow.
Algemas slowly got up and started digging a quiet grave for his brother. "Neither of us were meant for war, and now you're dead, and I am stuck as second in command..." He thought to himself.
When he was done with his impromptu burial, he looked around, nobody was watching. He snuck off into the woods. He wandered past a huge tree. He inspected it carefully. There was a small door, with writing on it. Well, it was to old and rotted to read. He opened the door, and it creaked loudly. As he opened it, a large, shadowy figure bulled past him. He turned around to see what it was. All he saw were two pairs of razor sharp teeth, and that, was the last thing Algemas ever saw.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

"I have the strange feeling that I've been here before" Thomas said.

Antura shrugged. "Maybe you have, Thom. You could've stopped in for a visit or somethin'- I wouldn't know, because I'm gone a lot."
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Quickpaw

"Umm, Melvin?" he asked, trying to get the kite's attention. "I have a message for you." Vash added.

"Who is abby warrior right now"  Tom said "He could help us find some weapons". "Or we could just ask someone on the walltops if I could borrow a weapon".

OOC: Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

BIC: "We don't have an Abbey Warrior right now. If we did, they'd be carrying Martin's sword," Antura replied. "You're right, the best place to ask about weapons is the walltops."

Sister Baypaw sat down, glaring out the window at Melvin. He was talking to an otter until another creature approached. Hmm, exactly what was it? It was tall and lithe- an otter perhaps? No. It was- "Hmph. Can't be. How could a blinkin' vermin get itself into the abbey, anyhow?" Her thoughts were interrupted by another patient- a squirrel defender with an arrow stuck in his brush. Baypaw sighed and got back to work.

Tom departed Antura, giving her his thanks. Once he was on the walltop he saw an unattended bow with some arrows. "who's are these" he asked nearby squirrel. "There my friends, but he got hit by an arrow, so you can borrow them" the squirrel replied.
Tom notched an arrow to the string and let it fly. He was soon rewarded with an agonized scream, then silence.

Vash waited for a response, hoping that he wouldn't become a snack for a hungry carnivore.

Norham Waterpaw

Norham assured the large kite that Vash was a friend, not lunch. Norham decided it best to go inside for a while. As he was going in, he bumped into Abbess Emmery, who was just leaving to go encourage the gaurds on the walltops. Norham did his best to bow, and failed. The abbess laughed, but not in a mean way. The tall squirell told Norham to stand up straight, and just call her Emmery, no fancy abbess, miss, or other such titles. Abbess Emmery was always involved with the young and old, and really blended in with the crowd. She did not mind this, but she did take command when the time was needed. Norham continued on, and found himself near the tapestry of Martin. He stared at it for what seemed an eternity, and he finally realized Antura was still there. He stuttered and stammered as he talked to her. " Er, um, how, err, how long was, er, I, standing here?"

Antura hid a smile, trying not to increase Norham's embarassment. "Not long. It's all right- Martin has that effect on most beasts."

"Um, Linda, wants to see you. She's waiting." Vash said before quickly leaving. He did not want to be near that kite any longer than he had to be. Vash started heading for the infirmary. After a little but of searching, he found it and walked in.

Baypaw looked from bandaging the squirrel's tail and saw a weasel. A weasel, and in her infirmary! She really was a peaceful beast, and she had no idea what to do. Twitching her ears, she wondered if she could make it past him- oh, bother! She couldn't leave her patient alone... Finally, she asked boldly (or so she thought), "What do you want?"

Norham Waterpaw

Norham decided it best to leave, before he got emberassed further. He said a most ungraceful farewell, while tripping over his own footpaws on the way out. He tried to cover his clumsiness and emberassement by humming. It seemed to work for a little while, and then he thought about how odd he had acted. He had never stammered in front of anyone before. He had never been so much of a clutz before. He blushed, and tried to stop thinking about it. He tripped again.

"I'm just here to help." he assured her. "Are you feeling okay? You look a little shaky." he said to her. Actually, it was probably just because she was a little opposed to him helping or maybe even scared of him. "Look, I'm seriously just here to help in any way I can. I may not be the best, but I'm sure I can help with something." Vash said.
I LOVE 80's music.

Norham Waterpaw

Norham went down to the cellars. A mole by the name of Ginbur was tending to the barrels of ale and wine. Cellarmole Ginbur looked up from his work. "Woi stan' on moi tunnel, if it bain't be masta Nor'am. Sit ye down good zurr!" Norham spoke. "Wow, is that you Ginbur? You haven't changed a bit!" Both exchanged warm handshakes.
