Um, yes. But it's your rp, so I'll go along with what you want if you want me too.
I LOVE 80's music.

Ooc: no, no, I shouldn't have powerplayed like that, please as you were saying, with the bolt protruding through your vest...
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Quickpaw

OOC: ok

BIC: Vash was silent, finally letting out a small breath. He was as still as a statue. He had almost died!

Norham Waterpaw

Norham was rushing up the stairs and saw Vash! He finally realized he was not dead, but almost! Norham went over to help pull out the bolt when another rushed through the shatter window and grazed Norham's back, and he began to bleed profusely.

Vash finally came back to consciousness in time to turn his head and see Norham get grazed by a bolt. He tossed the crutches to Linda and dashed towards Norham. His vest ripped of and he discarded it, forgetting about it.

#185
Norham blacked out. The last thing he saw was someone leaning over him.

Vash picked Norham up with a lot of effort and slowly moved him to the wall so that he would be out of they way of the onslaught. He headed back for Linda, but suddenly stopped. "Oh jeez, this is bad..." he said quietly, before looking down. There was an arrow in his upper leg near the hip.

OC: Yikes! I missed quite a bit! Sorry, I was at church, and then had to help with dinner, including making a picky five year old eat. :P

BIC: Sister Baypaw regained consciousness painfully. What had happened? She gasped as the saw the ruins  of the infirmary. "Oh no." Standing carefully and quickly assessing her wounds- amazingly it was only a few minor scratches and bumps- she noticed Norham propped against the wall and Vash stopped at the doorway, an arrow protruding from his leg. She had never been through a battle, so had never seen such bad injuries, but Baypaw did her best. "You there- Vash, was it? Come here an' I'll get that flippin' arrow out. Then y'can help me with the others, includin' that otter." Her tone brooked no argument.
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Quickpaw

Vash slowly looked at her, then nodded. He went to walk but as soon as he moved his left leg his eyes went wide and pain surged into it. Vash let out a cry of pain as he fell to the floor, clutching his leg. He had realized the pain until now, and it was agonizing.
I LOVE 80's music.

OOC: Sorry I missed a lot, but I had a violin recital, and then dinner at my grandparents. Also, if I'm away for a while feel free to powerplay me.

BIC: Tom was glad Antura was here. when he realised that ballistas were firing at the Abbey he went into an insane rage. Eyes red, he charged at the nearest Ballista and choped the string in half. He wrecked four more ballistas in a matter of seconds.

Sister Baypaw rushed to Vash and carefully pulled out the arrow. She then bound his wound quickly to stop the bleeding. Using the remains of her wrecked stores, she made a special poultice to deaden the pain and quicken the healing process, placing it on Vash's wound. She bit her lip. He didn't seem in any shape to help her. "All right, nevermind, old chap. Get y'self out of here on the double, laddie buck. That's an order!" she barked, imitating her old sergeant. Then she turned to deal with Norham. There was nothing she could do for him here, so she painstakingly dragged him out into the hallway, her eyes widening at the sight of the blood trail that he left behind. Baypaw rolled up her sleeves resolutely and got to work.

Antura was about to outline a plan to disable the ballistas when they began firing, and Thom charged past her, hacking madly at the weapons, heedless of the vermin around him. Well, there goes my plan for stealth, she thought. Drawing her cutlass, Antura followed Thom. As he attacked the ballistas, she defended him, shouting warcries all the while. "Blooood an' vinegaaaaaar! Redwaaaaallll!"

OOC: Just for clarification, she learned some Salamandastron warcries from Sister Baypaw, and loves to use them.

OOC: To Norham: Is it okay if me and Antura destroy the ballistas or should one or both of us get captured? I feel it appropriate to ask you as it is your roleplay.

Quickpaw

Vash nodded to her in thanks before slowly getting up. He started to hobble away.
I LOVE 80's music.

OOC: I am agreeable to Thom's idea, if Norham's okay with it. ;D Oh, and if you don't hear from Baypaw for a while, just assume she's going about her healing duties and such. I don't want to make an account of every poultice she makes and every bandage she wraps. :P

Norham Waterpaw

Ooc: I am fine with the destruction of the ballistas, or the getting captured idea. But so you know, I wouldn't be attacking a ballista up close, because a ballista works because of torsion cords, and if those are cut, the huge arms swing outward, possibly taking off a head or two, just so ya know...
