Quickpaw

Vash was hobbling to the basement, but it was taking him a little time. He was hoping that no one would shout him when he got down, since he highly doubted that he would be on any of their roll calls. He sighed and hoped as he neared the bottom.
I LOVE 80's music.

Thomas Barkshield

After destroying several balistas Tom sliped up and cut the cord from the wrong place. the cord wrapped around a dead weasels sword and due to incredible bad luck, it was impaled in Toms chest. His life flashed before his eyes and he knew he was going to die. "well, I might as well go down in glory" he thought. Shouting war cries he single pawed took down a score of vermin. The last thing he saw was the vermin taking down Antura, then everything went dark.

OOC: I did check with Antura about her getting captured and Thomas is still breathing (he's not dead).

Quickpaw

As Vash the corner, he found everything barricaded shut. He couldn't get in! He'd been locked out!! Vash swore under his breath before turning around and hobbling back up.
I LOVE 80's music.

Norham Waterpaw

Norham was slowly coming to. He felt a shooting pain as Sister Baybaw wrapped a poultice on his back. "Where's Vash?" He said, with a tone of urgency.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Sister Baypaw saw that Norham was coming to. The first thing he did was ask about Vash. Baypaw shook her head. "I'm afraid I don't know where he is. I sent him away from here, seein' as he'd taken a flippin' arrow in his jolly old leg, wot!"

Antura fought madly, but the vermin's superior numbers brought her down. She saw Thomas impaled after he cut the ropes on one of the ballistas, and then a vermin spear-butt thudded into the back of her head and she lost consciousness.
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Ooc: You know what I like best about roleplays? Well, sort of the best. But my favorite thing is seeing amateur writers like us make a cool story. ( if you aren't an amateur writer, sorry, but I know I am.)

Algemas' dead corpse was slowly being eaten by none other than a pure black snake. Its scales did not gleam in the moonlight, making it practically invisible to the eye. It slithered back into the massive tree from whence it came. Argarsis was the snake's name. He descended from the line of Baliss, the massive black adder.

OOC: Well, I'm pretty much an amateur writer, and you're right, that is a fun part- my favorite part is being someone else for a while. ;D

Vash finally reached the top with a huff. When he didn't see anyone, he started to make his way towards the eastern exit. It took him awhile, but he eventually made it. He opened the door with some effort and then started walking to the woods east of the vermin camp.

OOC: I kind of know how you feel, Norham. But I have to admit, my role playing has definitely improved since my first couple of roleplays.
I LOVE 80's music.

Ooc: This is my first RP, I couldn't have ever chosen a better group of writers, unless of course I could choose from Doyle, Lewis, Tolkien, and of course, Jacques. But other than that, this is awesome. Btw, Kitrall, what exactly is steam powered giraffe, is it a band? It has a steampunk look to it.

OOC: Thanks, I suppose. Everyone starts somewhere with writing and roleplaying.

BIC: Melvin strutted to the window and looked out. There was nothing of importance inside the walls. He itched to go out and fight, but a kite couldn't shoot an arrow or sling a sling. A kite could only scout, and fight from above. Sometimes he wished he had arms. That must be a luxury.

Quickpaw

OOC: Thanks Norham!
I LOVE 80's music.

Thomas Barkshield

OOC: Just a reminder that Tom was using martins sword.

BIC: Tom was dreaming. In his dream he saw Martin the warrior and himself in great hall. Martin simply said one phrase, "protect my sword". Then Tom awoke in immense pain. He pulled the sword from his chest and, gripping the sword of martin in his hand, he started crawling towards the abbeys east wicker gate. As he crawled he hoped that someone had noticed him, as he couldn't open the door himself.

Quickpaw

Vash noticed a mouse crawling as he hobbled. He debated whether or not to help him. He could just leave now, and he could get away from it all. But maybe he could just help this one mouse. Then he would walk off. Yeah, that was what he would do. Vash walked over to Thom, just now recognizing that he looked a little familiar. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, tapping him in the shoulder.
I LOVE 80's music.

Thomas Barkshield

"To be perfectly honest, I'm not. Why are you outside the abbey now?"

Quickpaw

"I can't get inside the barrier and nowhere else is safe. But there's still a good doc inside that's outside the barricade, I'm going to take you to her." Vash said, pulling Thomas up and supporting him with his shoulder.
I LOVE 80's music.
