Sister Baypaw had to hide a smile. "You look absoballylutely dashing." Ooc: Just to clarify, it is a regular tunic, not a habit.

Tailli shifted uncomfortably. Why was this otter helping her? She hadn't done anything for her. Tailli opened her mouth to point this out, then shut it. She didn't want to remind the otter. She mutely nodded, and wondered what to do next. Being social wasn't her expertise. She looked around a bit for inspiration, then spoke, "What are you going to do 'bout the vermin? Got many weapons around here?" Information for the vermin, she might get good food tonight.

Antura shrugged. "I really don't know what we're going to do. And I'm not too sure about our weapons situation. You know, you seem really smart. Maybe you can help us with some plans. I'll let you think about it- let's go get some food."

"I thought you abbey beasts didn't tell lies." Vash joked, though he was not amused.

Tailli wasn't too sure about being smart(sure, she could think when she had the mind to, but she had never applied thinking to things that weren't for her), however, she perked up at the mention of food. She immediately ran toward the kitchens. She wouldn't be eating the odd scone she had snuck out, she would gorge herself tonight.

Sister Baypaw glared reprovingly at Vash. "We don't. You do look good. Though if you want somethin' else, we have a chest of clothes that some performers left here once. They were jolly types. You can look through it if you'd like."

"Perfomer's clothing? No thank you." Vash said. "And do I really look good in this thing?" Vash added, not believing her.

Baypaw nodded. "Of course. An' the performers didn't leave costumes; they left their regular flippin' clothes. There might be a few vests in there."

[Quickpaw]

"Really? Then I'm gettin' outa this thing." he said, a little too excitedly.

Antura was faintly amused by Mabel's dash to the kitchens. Smiling, she followed at a more sedate pace. It was obvious that whatever other problems Mabel had, there was nothing wrong with her appetite.

"So, where can I find those new clothes?" Vash said, knowing he would need the sister's help finding the stash of clothes.

It wasn't hard for Sister Baypaw to see Vash's eagerness. "They're in the attic. I'll help you in just a moment." She deftly tied off a bandage. "All right, let's go."

[Quickpaw]

Vash nodded and followed her. He wasn't used to it, but he knew that he should thank her. After awhile of walking, the silence got a little awkward. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at her as they neared the attic. "Hey, uh, thanks, by the way." he said.

The sister was surprised. "What? Oh, yes. It's nothin' old chap. Don't mention it, wot." Try reached the attic, where Baypaw quickly located the chest. Inside was a large array of clothes, including several vests of varying colors. "Well, take y'pick, there's plenty to choose from."

Vash looked around for a little but before finding a green vest. He grabbed it off of it's hangar and put it on. "It's a little small, but it'll do." Vash said, walking out into the open.
