I like 60's music, I often joke to myself that I must be the only person in my class to have the Beatles and classical music on my ipod!

@Lily, I quite like Matchbox 20.

The concert was a lot of fun. We had standing tickets only, so we lined up really early and got places right up against the barricade.  :D

I enjoy soundtrack music (movie scores), classical music, old school rock 'n' roll (think Elvis or the Beatles), and vocal (think Karen Carpenter).

I no longer play any musical instrument.  I used to play trumpet and french horn when in grade school.  Wasn't half bad, but I was far from perfection like others in the band could muster up.  There were some that were REALLY good. :)

I'm more of a Trance (EDM) person myself. I just really like the dreamy feel that Trance music has, expessually from Progressive Trance DJs.

Life is too short to rush through it.

I'm learning guitar just now(well, have been for 8 months, but never get the urge to do it  :P)

My favourite bands/singers are Owl City, Enya, Adrian Von Ziegler, Warren Barfield, America, and a whole bunch more.

And also anything that's classical.

Right now I'm currently listening to "Deep Space Supergroop", an Australian band that a guy I know from another site is in (he plays guitar).  I like their general sound, and I think either "Thrills" or "20 Lines" is my favorite.

IS there anybody out there who likes Trance or EDM too?

love it

discovered it when i was 10 which was a kind of golden age for trance, and then when i was about 12 i started mucking around with music software and started making my own tunes, and experimenting with turntables (i was rubbish). when i was 17 i discovered jazz music however and dedicated the next 6 years to that, so trance music kinda fell by the wayside. very recently however i've unpacked my music software and had a re-aquaintance session.

not much good came out the other end, but here's a start;

i used to be into the harder side of things, but am really coming around to the deeper/more progressive side of things you say you're into. have you got any djs you'd recommend i hunt for sets by?

It's pretty good, but not my kind of music.  ;)

Let me see...I like most music, just not country and really heavy metal.
Right now. my favorite bands are probably: Owl City, Evanescence, Simple Plan, and Imagine Dragons. But that will change. It always does.

Good job on that song! I am also more of a Progressive fan to, but that was pretty good! What equipment did you use to make that song?

i use logic 8 which is -very- outdated now... i think they're up to logic 10 now.

that's all the equipment i have really, unless you count the laptop which is a 2007 macbook with a broken h key (i spilt beer on it. i have a small mixer and a couple of mice but that's for recording practice sessions and small groups, not for this kind of music.
