does anyone beleive king arthur existed. i some what do but i am not sure
knights of the round table and stuff like that sir lancelot and merlin.??????

There is certainly a "king" who was the basis for King Arthur stories, but it's unlikely the details in teh stories are 100% correct. They will have been changed over the centuries by various retellings, so that nobody now knows what the original really was (a little like Hollyweird's constant rebooting of movies and TV shows - for example, the new "Battlestar Galactica" is very different to the real original version).

As for Merlin, dragons, and magic. Most of that would have been added later to enhance the storytelling. Someone who was the basis for Merlin may have existed, but was likely just a normal alhemist using cheistry and science-of-the-day to perform what the average uneducated person believed was "magic".

It's the same with Robin Hood. There was certainly a real person, but the sories are so different and blurred that nobody knows exactly who or what the original was.
