If it hit his hear or lungs, he would be a goner. If he did get a wound that he was able to survive, it would probably be a wound were only some body tissue is.

I think he means that if Badrang lived he would kill Clogg and then go insane. I'm not sure though. I think if he lived he would go on to make another fort, not on the coast this time. And rule from that until some other hero killed him or one of his heirs.
