Didn't Luke the Warrior say the first two lines to Vilu Daskar before they both died?

Even if I'm thinking of someone else, I'll still go with Luke.

The answer is Luke the Warrior.

Sorry guys... Might have been a bit misleading with the eye colour.... Jacques just says Luke has dark eyes- I guess in my own mind they were just that dark blue some people have that almost looks black... my bad!

Well, I'm obviously going to have to dive a little deeper in the Redwall tomes to get some tougher characters- while I'm going that, anyone else wanna take a stab at a character riddle???

I'll give it ago sometime, I guess...if I can think up one!

Life is too short to rush through it.

Yay!

I'm up for a riddle.  I love riddles, but I hardly ever get them right.

Well, Martin had gray eyes, so I always thought that Luke's eye's were gray. I'm probably wrong there

No, that sounds logical.

EDIT: I made a riddle, it's not very good:

Alone I stand, I have no clan.
I work at night, I am a rare sight.
I seek vengeance, I shun not the fight.
I battle the color opposite of me.
My clan is dead, I will repay!
I will dethrone the murderer.

My ally, a mouse,
Holds the eyes of the enemy.
The enemy's snake would my life take.
But the serpent will not defeat me.
For I will destroy my enemy!
Who am I?

I don't know if It's entirely accurate, I put some parts to make people think it was a different character.

I'll have to think for a while, I really am not a pro at making riddles.

I try?

If I told you the tale of a creature
who went in to the night without word,
and had left his own mother to grieve for her mate
all alone so that no one else heard;

and I told you that he should have been there,
when the walls of the castle went down,
but instead that his own place was taken in turn
by a mouse, and a mole, and a clown;

and that after the woods became freer
and a haven rose over the wreck,
of the last few from that generation who lived,
she was waiting for him to come back,

would it make sense he loved babes and young ones,
and the tilling of land, like his dad?
They may call me a hero someday for my strength,
but 'tis life alone that makes me glad.
