I agree the first two series are better in their style. However on my second watch of series three I did begin to enjoy it more. Still one of the best series on TV for me!

There is going to be a Christmas special in December of this year, then season 4 will be at some point during 2016.

It also says that Moffat has confirmed there will be a season 5.

Has anyone seen the images of the Victorian London setting for the special? It's going to be cool with it set back in time.

It'll be set back in time? How are they going to do that? (Will season 4 be set back in time, too?)

No, Season 4 will resume as 2015. The special will be set in Victorian London. The characters won't go back in time, it will probably be like a Sherlock Holmes from that time period.

That sounds so fun, Sage. I worked at my local library when I was a teen, so I was usually the one either setting up or hosting the fan parties. The same people would usually come to them, and it was always great to see how easily introverts can open up when discussing mutual passions. We've had celebrations for Harry Potter, The Number Four, and some other popular series, but not Sherlock, yet.
