The creatures at Salamndastron spend a lot of time forging weapons I bet a lot of the weapons come from there. also there are probably single black smiths that just live off in the mountains on there own and forge weapons and stuff.  There is also a small forge at Redwall in the cellars.

Yes but where do they get the rock, metal, etc. to make the weapons?

I think they do but I don't think it says where they got the stuff to make them.
