Nope. Rrgh. Fine I'll tell you. It's the color spectrum. You can only see six colors of the spectrum, but there are many more, they're just invisible to the naked eye. Okay, I havent had any more riddle ideas lately, but I'll be posting some riddles that other people made up. Here is one of them!

"What has roots as nobody sees?
Is taller than trees.
Up, up it goes,
And yet never grows?"

Sorry for the double post.  :-[ I clicked the reply button before I realized. Ah, well. I'm going to be posting more riddles again!

True...so very true... :D

"This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down."

Let me ask you a riddle, Nightfire: What have I got in my pocket?

Yes, I'm stealing LotR riddles! XD

Here is a riddle that is great. Hope you like it:

"It is greater than God and more evil than the Devil.
The poor have it, the rich need it,  and if you eat it, you'll die."

Try and guess the answer to that 'un! XD

Nothing?!

Well, you know, nothing is greater than God or more evil than the Devil. The poor have nothing. The rich need nothing and if you eat nothing you'll die!

Darn! You've heard that one before!  :-[

By day they are lost without being stolen."

No, actually I hadn't heard that one before.

And for the new riddle my only guess after reading it once is Stars.
But that's probably not it, I'll keep thinking on it.

Nightfire

Actually, that IS it! You either have insanely good luck, just like the real Gonff, or you have heard all of these before and just don't want to admit it!

"Sometimes called a porcupine,
Sometimes called a hedgehog,
But I tell you true, those names are not mine.
Some think I am a dog,
Some thing I am a shrew,
But though I have these features,
None of these are mine, 'tis true!"

I really haven't heard any of these before. The first one I came up with the answer by thinking "Well nothing is greater than God, but that's probably not what she wants" and than I got it, that was exactly what the answer was. And after reading the second one I just thought "What comes at night?" and immediately thought of stars and the moon but it said "they" so I knew it couldn't be the moon.

But, it looks like my luck has run out. I can't think of anything for the answer to this next one unless it is a Mutant Misfit. (An old youth group joke.)

An A.A.R.L. also known as an Advanced Assassin Retrieval Longtails. Evil beastie from the book that I'm writing. Of course, none of you would know what one looks like, so this Riddle is the same as 'what have I got in my pocket?' Hahaha!
