Hey folks - we've had some great reviews and feedback from people all over - it's been a lot of fun.

So I wanted to put out a challenge/ask a favor of the people here as well our other comm. channels.

1. Make one or more of the most gorgeous screen shots from the map you can come up with. Feel free to use mods, filters, photoshop...be creative. So long as it's the AbbeyCraft world and still looks - you know - like Minecraft, then it works.
2. Make a 'promo video' for the world with cool shots, maybe music - again, show off your madd skillz!

Be prepared because what we'll be asking for is permission to use the best of these shots and clips in the various places we have the map available for download and for any press we wind up getting going forward. We'll give winners credit for their awesome work of course, but we'll need full permission to use them however we need to.

Hrrrmmm... I happen to have absolutely no sense of direction, and so I'm stuck very early on. What is a mezzantine, and how do you get to the Infirmary after the first few quests?

The mezzanine is The balcony overlooking cavern hole, you'll find the infirmary down a passage on one of the staircases.


also, If you press f3 it'll tell you which direction you're facing.

I find that when I see a word that I don't understand, it helps to look it up

Hi folks - I wanted to dop by and offer a general invitation to any of you who are artistically minded.

As part of the polish on this project we're putting together a series of custom character skins and a custom resource pack for texturing the map.
Folks at the "Illuminator" level of above from the kickstarter had first pass at this but there are still lots of bits that we'd like to insert into the package.

While these assets are not required to play The Corsair's Last Treasure, they do significantly improve the experience and help with the sense of immersion. These are all strictly artistic assets but if you're new to this world you'll want to brush up on how these assets get used.

We can accept individual assets including icons, individual textures, or even paintings. There is no need to create an entire pack by yourself...unless you're into that. We'll be looking at submissions and collecting the best into an official texture pack in the near future. Of course you'll be given credit for your work and your efforts will make The Corsair's Last Treasure better for all players around the world.

I have absolutely no experience with this, but I figured I'd take a stab at it anyway. I've made two skins so far. I based them off of Simon and Fiona. Two of the characters that will be in The Warrior Reborn.

THE ONE TRUE BLOCKY FAITH! Ahem. Sorry. I tried Abbeycraft, however I have no sense of direction. I got lost. Pretty badly. XD. My fault, not yours. What I saw of the map, I really liked. I'm excited for the full game ^_^
