Maybe you're thinking of a different Post Image hosting site. The postimage.org that I use doesn't need an account - I use it all the time and have never had an account at any of theses hosting sites.

No I'm thinking of the same site.....maybe I just didn't see that you didn't have to register.  Actually, I needed to register because I have control over a lot of images which I need for my forum.  Drag and drop just wouldn't work.

Why doesn't this Forum give you the option to post pictures from your computer files like other Forums that I have seen do?

Images take up a lot of server disc space, and server disc space costs money.

^ Yup....can't afford to allow uploads.  That has always been disabled.  I even had to disable it on forums I've run because they only give you so much space for free and uploads chew up space quickly.  There's so many places to host images for free these days its a moot point.
