As I always called it in school, P.E. = Pointless Exercise.  ;)

Those that are not discussing "sports they like" need to leave the thread.  If you want a topic about the "obesity epidemic" (or the lack thereof of one) start a new topic about it. Thanks.

If you expect discussions to stick to the actual topic, then you're in the completely wrong type of media.  ;)

Please respect the mods. We're just trying to have a discussion about sports that we like to play, ok?

I once played soccer, but I don't like it. My favorite sports are probably swimming, basketball, and volleyball.

I really like basketball and volleyball too. I know my brother loves to play volleyball. I enjoy swimming too although, unfortunately, I don't get to do it very often. Unlike you though, I love playing soccer. I used to play it a lot with my old P.E. group but then I joined a different one and I rarely play it anymore. It's probably my third favorite sport besides basketball and ultimate frisbee.

Used to play a lot of badminton, though not in the last couple of years.

I really enjoy playing swordtag (boffer) with my friends.
It is as it sounds; you tag people with swords (foam ones).
Have any of you played?

Discussions do tend to trail off the main point in real life, to be fair. But obviously we respect the forum's rules. :) !

Of sports I would like if I was more able to partake:
Football (not American. I don't like the word 'soccer'). At least if I watch it I can understand what's going on and not be bored senseless like other sports on TV. I only really watch it if England are playing in the World Cup.
Tennis is such a bore to watch, but seems quite fun to play. Though a bit confusing... I'd rather just hit the ball back and forth, for fun, with no extra rules.
I like going in pools, however my swimming ability is very poor, despite having lessons when I was a wee one.

And maybe some others I can't think of at the moment.

Oh, tennis is a another sport that I forgot to mention. I really love playing tennis. I've taken a few tennis classes and have gone to one tennis camp. My Dad will sometimes take me to the tennis courts and play with me and sometimes I'll play with friends.

That's how I feel when I watch American Football, soccer/football, tennis, sometimes volleyball, basically any sport but basketball, which is the one sport that I actually completely understand. ::)
