Martin the Warrior is way more epic than Mickey Mouse. Anyone who says otherwise is insane, or just wrong.

Especially for a more recent book in which the stories could be considered to be too much repetition of the formula and going downhill, not only was Doomwyte on par with some of the best books, Bisky was a very prominent character, up there with Martin/Matthias in my opinion.

I also liked him because he wasn't one of those "perfect heroes".  He was quite obviously a kid, and, unlike some other Redwall heroes, acted like it. (Pillow fight!)
