Ok well, here it is:
A Species and a Member Thereof
Ropalia was once a beautiful world, the Ropalians, bat creatures that inhabit the world, would often wake up in the night and swarm out of their caves by the thousands, soaring high above the amazing jungles and oceans which covered the planet, it was quite a sight to behold. But Ropalia is dead, ravaged by her Imperious Condescension and the Trolls of Alternia. Now the seas are polluted, the trees are withered and dying and the Ropalians are born into a life of slavery.
What is a Ropalian? They are like anthropomorphic bats, their height's are similar to humans and Trolls, the average lifespan is 87 years or 40.15 solar sweeps, Ropalians did have their own units at some point but they are lost to the mists of time.
Ropalians are a hardy species, usually strong and well-muscled, able to survive in the harshest of conditions. They are covered in fur which ranges from white to black (there is a subspecies, smaller and less adaptable, who are also able to have brown fur) the fronts of their torsos, the soles of their feet and the palms of their hands are free of fur, exposing a dark grey skin. Ropalians have large ears like a fennec fox's and a long tail covered in fur and ending in a tuft. They have giant bat wings.
Ropalian romance is like human romance and is not confusing in the slightest. Whilst human reproduction is exclusively heterosexual and Troll reproduction is bisexual, Ropalian reproduction is exclusively homosexual.
Now that you know a little about Ropalians, let's meet one:

Appearance: Yaraso's fur is a light grey colour with a white stripe down his back between his wings, his only garment is a pair of rough, brown, knee-length burlap shorts which are raggedy and frayed at the edges. His eyes are a deep purple.
Personality: Yaraso is incredibly untrusting and was originally very xenophobic towards Trolls because of his past but his first Troll friend, Loutre M. Berg made him realise that not all Trolls are evil
