OOC: Cornflower, you've kind of taken over Russina. If you'd like, I can make an App, and make her one of your characters. I'm making an exception to the "No new characters" rule, as Russina has been around for awhile, and isn't really new.

OOC: I wasn't planning on mining anything.  I'm assuming that your still supposed to run into the horde, and that could provide for an interesting situation, plus, I'll give Vatra some running credit on this.

Vatra looked behind her at the trail of foot prints she had left behind her she had been walking at a fast jog for the past ten minutes now and she was a good distance from the abbey. She pressed on but now at a slow walk. She was not sure where she would go she she didn't even have any food. She realized that that might have been a bad idea but she was not going back.

As Hail wandered the forest, he came across the tracks of a squirrel. He looked up and saw that the tracks in the snow led straight towards where Grund's Horde was coming from! Hail drew his twin rapiers from his belt, and started following the footprints.

Brokentooth saw the forest. He recognized it to be Mossflower woods, where Redwall Abbey was located. Smiling, he walked to where Grund was "Sir," said the Ermine. "I've spotted Mossflower. Would you like me to scout ahead for any creatures we could use as hostages.

Abbess Russina went back into the Abbey, she was tired. Then she stopped, surprised. "Whoever you are, it's clear Martin The Warrior has chosen you for Abbey Champion And Warrior. We will welcome your help in the battle." She said, walking over. Then she giggled. "Do you want some help up? You look rather....silly laying there!" She said, the offered her paw.

"What, no there's some mistake! And thank you." Zanga let himself be helped up.
He didn't know what an Abbey Champion was, and he wasn't planning on staying here, after the war thing was over.
"I can't be your warrior thing, I'm not going to be staying here, I'm just staying for the battle. And who's Martin the Warrior?"

"Martin The Warrior feed Mossflower from the clutches of Wildcats a long, long, long time ago. To make long story short, his sword was snapped by one of them, and he was thrown in a dungeon. he escaped help help of a Mousethief. He went on a quest to find Boar The Fighter at Salamandastron, and his sword was repaired, but Boar died in battle before Martin left. Well, Martin came back, killed the Wildcat leader, and then when all that was done he helped build the Abbey. Now, in times of danger (Such as now) He picks someone to be the Abbey Warrior and take up his sword and defend our peaceful order. Short version."

Arya raced through the tree tops, thinking about what Ervoyce said. I'm one of the Leaders for the Attack?!?? When she saw the Abbey walls close by, she went down the trunk of the tree she was in, and went through the wallgate that nobody bothered to lock. Then she went to find Zanga. She had quite the surprise when she found him. "Zanga?"

Zanga was stunned, "But, I...I...I don't know anything 'bout being a leader!"
He then heard his name, and turned round to see Arya, without noticing he was actually holding the sword. "Arya!" Was all he could say.

"What's going on? Why are you holding the Sword of Martin?"

"I don't know!" Zanga whined.

[Cornflower MM]

"Well, for better or worse, you're one of the leaders! Um, am I one of them? Ervoyce said something along those lines...."

"What! I didn't tell you anything! And I can't be a leader. I don't know how!!"
