I had an idea as far as merging the two forums go. That said, though, it would work best if nobody posted on the old forum until I'm done, and I'm not sure that's viable.

We've been looking forward to this for a long time. Sometimes I wondered if I'd ever see it again, but some people's work paid off in spades.

Incidentally, I would remind our members that if you have anything you want to save for posterity, now is the time to back it up. The old forum shouldn't be going anywhere now, but in case there's any bumps in the road ahead, you'll be glad to have them saved elsewhere.

It fills my heart with joy seeing you all so excited upon having the old forum back up. It was kind of an uphill battle, but we got there

Now, rest assured that we are working our very hardest to prevent that board from breaking ever again, but you should totally follow James's advise anyway; RP owners, people with writing and art threads (so, basically @Eulalia ) and those who have important topics to save, this is the time to do it.

If you find it hard to work your way around the forum -and admittedly, it is a bit messy in its current state- the layout is currently being worked on and should be up very soon, but the threads are all accessible for those with accounts.

If I click on the register tab its loading for like a second or two and then keeps coming back to this...

Would you be ok with me making an account for you and then PMing you the details? That's a common issue with that board and one that's also being worked on.

I cannot read any posts on the old forum. Everything comes up as tiny boxes with question marks, and when I click on them, it has a "Not Found" error.

Everything seems to be working alright for me, but don't forget that the webmaster is working the board and that causes all sorts of errors to come out.
