After a moment or two of stupefied silence, Ashiga shook his head.

"You're an idiot."

Pacing towards the gates, he kept talking.

"Nobody can see the future, and there's no real way I'm going to survive."

"No one calls Russina an idiot without consequences. The last beast was cursed. I'll wait until you aren't in these walls that block my Magic." The optimistic squirrel's normally cheerful and bright voice turned cold and deadly.

BIC: Kogane woke up, his sleep had continued to be plagued by nightmares of the incident that caused him to be here. Sunlight filtered in through a gap in the curtains, Kogane could tell by the light that it had just been dawn. It was still a few hours before he was due to meet Ashiga so he lit some incense and sat cross-legged on the floor in the centre of the room.

Kogane closed his eyes and took a deep breath, inhaling the sweet smelling smoke that hung about the room. The marten let his mind wander over the memories of his mentors, specifically the fighting techniques they had taught him. He spent a few hours refreshing his knowledge of everything he had ever learned.

A bell rang out waking him from his meditation, it was time to meet Ashiga. Kogane pulled his armour out from under the bed and buckled it on then picked up his swordbelt and wrapped it around his waist finally he picked up his katana from where he had left it on the nightstand and slid it into its sheathe. Thus prepared he began to make his way through the abbey to the grounds

Hailey saw Kogan and ran after him. She knew now that there was going to be no changing his mind she just hoped that this would not end in disaster.

OOC: Okay!! I've figured it out, so don't worry!

BIC: Russina walked off, since she had to go......And not like go away go. She went walked off to find a spot, leaving before that stupid creature replied.

He was coming. Ashiga could see Kogane stalking madly across the courtyard towards him as he waited by the gate. He could feel the grim shadow of Death cast itself over him as Kogane drew nearer.

He could hear Death's sultry, slurry, subtle whispers already.

Death was a woman, and her voice was sweet. Perhaps it would not be so bad? If Ashiga knew anything about how Kogane fought- and he did- then the wounds inflicted upon him would kill him quickly. Not painlessly, but quickly.

"Good morning, my dearest old friend. Shall we get on with this?"

Kogane grinned he had a mad glint in his eye "It certainly is a good day, a day one more worthless existence will be wiped off the face of the Earth"

OOC: Death was a woman? Deadpool reference or coincidence?

Russina finished her business and was walking back toward the gate, and she saw someone marching up to the weasel she had been talking to. Her eyes glazed over and she said, "The Weasel shall not yet die, the other shall not do the deed for now." She shook her head, since it was fuzzy, and went her way. Instantly forgetting what she said.

Hailey turned and went up the stairs to the wall tops where she would have a good view.

Russina saw Hailey, and went up to say hello. "Hi! I'm Russina. How are you?" She asked, walking up to her.

[Faiyloe]

"I'm fine but I don't know about those two down there," She said shaking her head. "I tried to stop it but I couldn't talk them out of it,"

"Not worthless, Kogane. I have money to my name still- though I don't suspect you'll let my name survive either."

Ashiga looked up.

"And how are you so sure of victory? For all you know, I may have already had you poisoned in your sleep."
