I am reading the series in publication order and want to know which books are good before I read them. (I am going to read them all no matter what, i just want to know which ones are the best)

My personal favorite of the books is Rakkety Tam.

I would go with Doomwyte or Rakkety Tam. They had great characters, action, and great moments in them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Martin the Warrior. A great adventure, wonderful heroes and villains, and a tragic ending. You can't get much better than that.

yeah mossflower seems to be a common favorite as well as rakketytam. I have not read mossflower yet, what would you say is really good about it.
