The Skarzs

"Alright. . ." said Argunath slowly. "You little ones want to play?"
They all squealed.
"You ever played, 'juggle the babies'?"
"Hurr, what be that?"
The cougar smiled slowly. "I'll show you. All of you just relax, act like rocks, and get ready for a thrill."
Picking up three in his paws, he tossed one up in the air, then another, catching the first one and throwing the third one at the same time. He did this for a little while, then set them all back down, catching the last one expertly with his tail. He did this to the other three Dibbuns until they were all walking around giggling, thinking it was all great fun.
"Now I can eat", he chuckled. Turning back, he saw his plate pillaged of any sweet items he had, a last joke from the mischievous babes.

Bryant snorted with laughter, the collared a passing Dibbun who was eating something from Argunath's plate, whispered something in his ear, and gave him an apple turnover, from a batch he made. He wasn't a very good cook, but his apple turnovers were better than those of the Friar's. Everyone knew that, and he always had to make them every time he came to visit. The dibbun trotted up to Argunath, and held up the turnover, grinning like thus Cheshire Cat, so to speak.

Argunath picked up the little one, and took the turnover from his little paw.
"Thank you, tiny one." He smiled, and his teeth showed.
The Dibbun touched a fang. "Oh, it vebby sharp!"
Closing his mouth, the cougar set him down. "Yes, and so is a knife, tiny one. Now go along and eat."
He watched the innocent Dibbun scurry off, and he bit absentmindedly into the turnover. "Hm," he mumbled in satisfaction. Then he turned to the Abbess. "Who made this?"

OOC: I assume she is at table.

OOC Yeah......She's just really enjoying her vittles!!

BIC Rosemary looked at the turnover, then answered with a question: "Is that an apple turnover?"

The Skarzs

He finished the morsel. ". . . Was an apple turnover. It's gone now." He grinned again.

"Bryant, then. He's most definitely not a good cook - He''s burned a few salads - But he makes the best apple turnovers." Rosemary replied, then grabbed the plate that was being passed up. It had two turnovers left, and she gave one to Argunath, and kept one for herself, then handed the plate to a Kitchen Assistant to be refilled.

The Skarzs

"Thank you. And I must thank him as well." He sat back down. "I am concerned about the safety of your home. I do not know how far the cats' camp is, nor how many they number. The walls are secure enough, but the gates can be broken, and I do not know the amount of fighters you have here. I know this is not the best time, but the subject must be considered."

Rosemary noticed a few of Skipper's otters choke on their food, then glare at the cat next to her. "Um, how about we meet to discuss this right after dinner? I don't want them overly worried. They'll panic, which will help nothing." She asked, touching his paw. The plump little Abbess was quite concerned about the panic level in her Abbey, and discussing war tactics s at dinner was most decidedly NOT going to help.

Kaylan wasn't sitting too close to the Abbess, so she didn't hear anything she said. She continued eating, wondering when the wildcat army would decide to make their move. She was slightly nervous about the prospect of an all-out war, having only been in a skirmish with a small band of vermin the season before.

"Sorry," said Argunath. "It can wait, I suppose." He rose from his seat. "Thank you for the food and hospitality; I think I will take a little walk around the building, if it is alright."

"Yes, of course!" Rosemary replied, then attacked a pastime as big as her head enthusiastically.

The Skarzs

The cougar limped off, toward the direction of the Great Hall.

Aggril looked to the position of the sun as he and Willow trekked on.
"Well, we'll be able to travel a bit further; shame we didn't get too far today. Willow, mate, how be the goin'?"

Bryony had set the pace energetically, and hoped the cat could keep up.

As dinner was over, Kaylan headed to her room and set about fixing one of her arrows, which had broken.

After dinner, Arya had wandered off, and was going to her room to do some sword polishing and whatnot. As she passed Kaylan's room, she peeped in. "Hey, Kaylan! How's the arrow-fixing going?"
