Arya laughed, enjoying the two squirrel's bantering. "Oh, it's not far....Only about five more minutes." She said, smiling. She was enjoying their company, besides, the one called Reven was quite cute looking. But why he'd fall for her, she'd no idea. It wasn't going to happen. But she could be friend's with him. Right? Right.

"Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Are you coming or not, cat?" Bryony said, her temper's fuse growing short.

Argunath mounted the wall steps. "I am walking. And now I am talking."
He looked hard at her. "I know you do not trust me, otter; nothing tells you otherwise. Can you tell me why?"

Kaylan squared her shoulders and replied coolly, "Because you're a vermin. And vermin don't change. All they cause is death wherever they go. Yeah, I've been hearing some gossip about you saving a Dibbun. But I also heard that in the process you caused the death of one. How d'you explain that away?"

She backed off slightly and awaited his reaction, at the same time reaching discreetly for an arrow. If he tries to kill me 'cause I suspect he's a spy, at least I'll have some sort of weapon for close range. You never know what vermin are gonna do.

Argunath's vision glazed red; a deep growl welled inside his chest as he tried to calm down. The cougar spoke haltingly as he clutched his head, the entire scenario from earlier happening again in his mind.
"Nooo! The little one was innocent. . . helpless!"
He looked at Kaylan suddenly; his pain and anger at the unjust death showing. "I am not a vermin, but a cougar, a devil cat, for everywhere I go death follows! I am a monster! Everyone I care for dies! All the good I do still causes sorrow!"
He pounded the wall with his fist, and his body shook; he was losing control and the Bloodwrath was getting stronger. He took his paws from his head and roared.

OOC: Well....That post was interesting, to say the least. Maybe a touch too dramatic, but hey, I'm no judge on that!

Kaylan stared at the cougar, alarmed. Well, that settles it. He's crazy as well as a spy. She slowly backed away, then ran down the wallstairs, across the Abbey lawns, and into Great Hall, looking for somebeast to help get Argunath under control.

Rosemaqry was just walking into the Great Hall when Kaylan burst in. "Is everything alright?" She asked, a little worried. Kaylan's expressions was.....A bit off-putting.

Argunath growled, his fangs and teeth gleaming in the moonlight, which also reflected in his crimson eyes.

David watched this exchange with a degree of interest and a higher degree of amusement. As fun as it is to watch you two bandy words like this he signed I'd also like to get to this abbey place so I don't have to worry about being killed in my sleep so can we hurry this up?

"Mother Abbess!" the ottermaid exclaimed, gasping for breath. "Y'know that cat that came here earlier today? He's gone into some kind of lunatic rage! He's up on the west wall, last I knew."

In the reddened haze that clouded Argunath's vision, he saw the big sandstone building. He went down the stairs.

"Oh, goodness gracious!!" Rosemary said, then ran out, heading for the walltop.

Bryony nodded. "Alright, come on you two." She said, then set off at a fast pace. She couldn't wait to get back to Aggril and Willow, and she'd alreaduy wasted an a hour dealing with Dave.

Kaylan stood undecided a moment, then followed the Abbess. Despite Rosemary's apparent naivete, Kaylan in the main respected her and didn't want her to get hurt. Besides, she wanted to see what was going to happen.

As she ran back outside, she could make out the figure of Argunath on the lawns. I'm surprised he didn't jump off the wall or somethin', seein' how crazy he is, she thought, rolling her eyes.
