Peanuts (The Comic Strip)

I'm pretty sure everybody here has heard of Peanuts (you know, Charlie Brown?). I have just recently gotten, you might say, interested in it. There's something pretty refreshing about it. Here's a Peanuts strip I found on the internet:

So, does anybody else here like them?

They are pretty funny, but I like "The Far Side" by Gary Larson better.

"The Far Side"? Never heard of it. Is it a comic strip?

It's one-picture comics; but the author stopped doing them because he felt like he was running out of ideas and did not want to start making it go downhill. It's an older comic; look it up.

I really like those comics. They are a close second to Calvin and Hobbes for me

I LOVE Calvin and Hobbes! But Peanuts will always be my favorate.

I'm planning on collecting the entire Peanuts collection sometime. It will take time and money, but I know I'll reach my goal eventually.

Do you know how many peanut comics there are? A LOT! It would take a life time to get them all.

Actually, no. Peanuts ran from 1950 to 2000. Recently, they've started releasing volumes in a 25-volume book series. Each volume covers 2 years of the Peanuts strip (with the exeption of the first volume, which covers three years). So, if I collect all 25 volumes, I'll have every Peanuts strip ever written.

Garfield is okay, though I only usually read Peanuts and Cavin And Hobbes out of those.
