OOC: Everyone's waiting for me to post as the otters. Having some trouble if you couldn't tell. BIC:

"Whooo Dares to take Redwall from its' keepers!? Show your sniveling hides, lest the curse be worse for the lot of you!" There was a billow of smoke accompanied soon after by a rising bonfire out on the path in front of the main gate. The flaring light revealed a shadowy, cloaked figure standing between the gate and the blaze. With all features hidden by light's absence, it spoke again, "You have made a foolish mistake, staying at this Abbey against the wishes of its' caretakers!" An arrow from the walltop went through the figure, who slowly tilted its' hood down to look at the hole, "You just sealed your fate, vile creature." The apparition pointed a robe-like sleeve at the petrified beast who had fired at him, "You... shall..... BURN!"

The otter working the puppet allowed herself a snigger, superstition was such a powerful weapon! Her male twin's turn was up, being the one charged with making these curses come to life.

The ghastly figures hand fell to its' side once again as the flames from the fire seemingly flared out toward the gate, spiraling into the wooden structure, and some almost reaching the guards on the wall. The main gate erupted in a sheet of flame as the demonic aggressor finished speaking, "Leave now! Before my wrath is turned to the rest of you!" Both the bonfire and the gate flared in a horrific green hue before dispersing in one last puff of smoke. By the time it cleared, the path was cleared, but there was a jagged, scorched "x" with a background of wood ash on the front of the still standing gate.... As well as the archer rat with a molten rock stuck several inches into his skull, struck down midst the confusion to round out the act.

The otter's work was complete, they packed up and made their way back to camp.

OOC: I assume that using one vermin for flow purposes is okay? Also, sorry for the really long wait, I've been a little busy, really want to get this going again.

Feragat stared wide eyed at the x in the gate unable to tare his gaze away his knees shaking and his paws unable to grip the trigger of his crossbow. He staggered back a few paces then turned and ran. He was not going to stick around to meet the same fat as the rat.

After the furniture had been taken care of, Ervoyce had excused himself for, "A breath of fresh air." Now outside, he savored what he could only imagine the twins doing to the poor vermin as the orange hue flared out in a final blue/green burst. His eyes dilated as he faintly caught a few varying cries of anguish or fear coming from the abbey. His hate for the vermin had consistently grown stronger, especially toward the weasel that had caused such enormous amounts of pain for his friends, "Burn.... Burn, feel the pain.... feel it tear you to pieces as death dances around playfully..... But save the killer for me....... He's mine." The squirrel had lost himself in his whisperings, the headache from earlier returning, and a dark brooding overcame him as he anxiously awaited the time when he would finally come face-to-face with the weasel.... The one that hurt his friends....... The one that killed Zanga!

Vatra was outside as well trying to avoid the infirmary keepers clutches when she saw Ervoyce, standing with his back to her, facing the direction of the abbey.  She decided to try and creep up behind him knowing that he would probably realize she was there before she even got close but he didn't. Worry crept into her heart and she stopped an arms length away from him straitened up and said softly "You ok?"

Ervoyce's entire body twitched as one, caught off guard by Vatra's voice. He shook himself, waking himself from the glazed-over trance state he had been in. He scrunched his eyes a couple times, blinking away traces of pain and daze, as well as rubbing his forehead quickly before responding and turning, "Hmmm? Oh, yeah, just a bit of a headache 'tis all. All this running around can make one dizzy. You know?"

OOC Just so you know Dan, Raphael is a weasel. ;)            BIC Raphael came running out of the abbey when he heard loud voices. He rushed up onto the walltop, bow ready. He swore when he saw the ash and the X, and the dead rat. "Superstious fool, he deserved it." He muttered, kicking the body out of the way as he strode along the walltop.

A grin spread over Vatra's face as she reached for Ervoyce's paw "Oh do I ever, You should try waking up from a bloodwrath sometime, at times it can feel like you where eaten alive by a giant eel and then spit back out again," She allowed her self a soft chuckle followed by a wince as her solder throbbed. She looked back at the black squirrel and said 'what happened to you who where you before you came here? Some times I can see some one very different then the squirrel I know behind those eyes,"

OOC: I could've sworn he was a ferret.  ::) BIC:

Ervoyce couldn't help but cringe visibly when Vatra talked about waking up from bloodwrath, he knew more about it than he'd care to. When she asked about his past his heart skipped a beat. His outer shell remained calm, but his gut was unsettled. Still, he couldn't hold his silence for very long, lest, she get suspicious, "There's not much to tell really, I was born and raised to fight in the North. I started to wander to satisfy my boredom, though there always seemed to be some hidden reason for my travels that I could never pin-point... The Redwaller's certainly have changed me, I always looked out for others, but I used to be far less accepting, and a bit more aggressive." He couldn't help but chastise himself, "A bit? THAT'S the understatement to end all understatements."

"Perhaps that makes us perfect for each other. You keep me sane, you keep me from killing everyone. For the first time in a long time I actually have real friends ones that I can joke around with. Friends that are not afraid of what I might do if I lose control. You helped me to see that I could still love, that I was no monster. You have changed too. When I first met you all I could see where the walls that you put up. Walls of perfection and marble, silent cold and beautiful but unable to feel. You have let your walls down, you have shared with me something wonderful. We make an odd pare. A beast who suppresses there felling's and one that cant control them. Maybe that is why we are so perfect for each other," Vatra said resting her head on his shoulder her paw held in his.

A smile snuck its' way onto the rustic squirrel's face, Vatra had really learned just how to talk to him. Ervoyce's smile wrinkled slightly, he was worried... Worried that his demons were coming back for him...... Worried that those whom he loved so much, would despise the evil within. Everybeast had their dark side, he knew this to be fact, but he had yet to meet another that was quite like himself. Then again, it was probably best not to think about it right now. He gently rested his head against Vatra's, and wrapped his left arm around her shoulder, "A more confusing pair there never was." He savored this moment, who knew if he'd have another?

Vatra relaxed and let out a contented sigh. "Thankyou," She said softly. She had finally found the missing piece, sure she was fractured but she was finally whole again. She could heal.

Jantar was in a dark room with all the curtains shut. She sat cross-legged on the floor mumbling to herself. The only light in the room came from a small scented candle in front of her. "The time of destruction draws near." She muttered, eyes closed, "But it is still unclear as to whom will be destroyed. I see the shadows of two warriors, both strong and skilled. They are sworn enemies, destined to destroy the other. But it is unclear as to whom will survive. I see the tears of young maidens, a steady river of saddness. Soon, soon all will come to light. Soon."
