"LET ME OUT YOU $*%&$ TRAITOR! VERMIN SYMPATHIZER!" She shouted struggling with the net  "When I get out you'll be sorry!"
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

rachel25

Ushen shrugged, "You should try being more civil with people. And I highly doubt that."

Bryant turned, infuriated. For one moment, his face turned into lines of something truly frightening, as he said, "At least I didn't kill people for the fun of it. At least I can control my temper." He said quietly, but that was truly scary. It was calm and quite with rage. Then he turned again and kept walking.

Faiyloe

A fire blazed up behind her eyes. She growled at him and tried to get at him but of coarse the net got in the way. "I NEVER KILL FOR FUN! YOUR JUST A COWERED! AN INSECURE COWERED! AFRAID TO DO WHATS RIGHT!"

OOC: Some one should probably tell Ervoyce...  ::)
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Cornflower MM

OOC: Probably. At this rate, Bryant's gonna end up killing her without letting her out of the net.

BIC: Bryant snapped. "OH YEAH? HOW ABOUT BEING RIDICULED BY YOUR DRUNK FATHER? BEING DESPISED BY YOUR MOTHER? BEING MOCKED, EVERYWHERE YOU GO? AT LEAST YOU'VE NEVER BEEN LAUGHED AT! MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO RUN TO YOUR PRECIOUS ERVOYCE! AND HOW ABOUT YOU JUST GO AHEAD AND REALIZE WHAT I DID AT A GLANCE! YOU AND THAT BLACK SQUIRREL ARE SO FREAKING IN LOVE THAT YOU'VE MADE ARYA FEEL LIKE A FIFTH WHEEL! NOW THAT ZANGA'S GONE, SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANYONE TO REALLY TALK TO! THAT MAKES IT THAT MUCH WORSE FOR HER!" He yelled, then turned and ran. He'd just blurted out Arya's secrets! The ones he'd promised not to tell....Along with a few of his own. This was a mess. He knew that if he didn't go know, he'd lose it completely...And the last time that had happened, it hadn't been pretty. It had involved mopre than one death, in fact.

Faiyloe

"YOU HAVE NO IDEA! YOU SAY YOUR HER FRIEND YET YOU DON'T SEE! YOU SAY SHE IS ALONE YET YOU STAND THERE DOING NOTHING! IF IT IS SO IMPORTANT BE THERE FOR HER! YOUR A COWERED!"

I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

OOC: Oh my goodness, I was listening to a song that so made reading that so awesome!

BIC: Ushen listened to all this, and when he heard what Bryant said, he felt a strange feeling inside of him. Drunken father, uncaring mother, it so reminded him of his own parents, and there was something else. Like a long forgotten memory, locked away in the depths of his complicated mind.

OOC: Hey, Corn I just had an idea, could Ushen, and Bryant be brothers? Ushens only a little older than Bryant, but maybe Ushen could have forgotten or something about Bryant, until now. I could think something up.

OOC: Hold the phone! Don't make any posts PLEASE! I just had an idea but I need to talk to Cornflower first, please don't post this could be great!

EDIT: Oh, and the conjunction "you are" is spelled "you're" with an apostrophe and an "e." "Your" is referencing something of another's ownership.  ;)

OOC: You know...I just remembered that I had copied my post when it was CLEAR that I couldn't post it....I'm glad I couldn't post it now! Dan, I'm saying it again: On with the plan! Only, you can PP a little bit, but not much if I'm on, and if I'm not, then go ahead and do as much as you need to, 'Kay?
@Rachy: That....Sounds.....FANTASTIC!!!

EDIT: I have given Dan permission to do what he's got to do with Arya! Now, I'm off to enjoy my dinner, so I'll type you all later tomorrow!

A stick snapped intrusively in the temporarily silent air. There, standing behind the group was Ervoyce, supported by Arya's healthier body. His expression displayed the pain he felt, to all, a pain that cut deeper than any sword and burned hotter than any flame. A pain that ripped into his fragile concept of home, a pain that tore away the contentment and happiness he had just so recently reveled in. Frail form shaking, the dark squirrel had to close his eyes to concentrate on the words he stated quietly, "So, the actions of those long ago still determine how you act today." Troubles searing his heart, Ervoyce opened his eyes to finish speaking, exposing his emotional agony, "You sit there and be-rate one another while being the culprits yourselves. You've let your animosities and negative feelings hinder you from seeing that others are hurting too! Do you even realize that there are others in Brockhall injured in the same ways as you? Do you even realize that there are some who are even worse off... then you? What kind of example are you setting for the hurt and broken! What should they think when their leaders spend their off time shouting insults at one another! WHa.!..." A stab of physical pain interrupted his words, forcing him to lean more on Arya, and instinctively hunching in her direction. As the spike subsided, he closed with a voice that had returned from it's crescendo, "Who are you actually fighting, the vermin?.... Or each other?.."...

Ervoyce left the support of his friend and reached to his belt to grab something. Upon grasping the object, he threw it with just enough effort to cut a singular supporting line that was vital to the trap, setting his coloration counter-part free. After taking a quick last glance he turned, nodded a "Thank you" to Arya, and made his way back to the tree. Slumped, bent, and broken, he could not hold the moisture any longer, his eyes shed their load slowly as the shattered remains of his short lived home came to light... Would they ever come together as they had? No, not unless amends were made, and how could hearts so viciously shredded be expected to repair such a hole." Rounding the corner of the tree, he wept internally, allowing some of the excess grief to materialize from his eyes, increasing the flow. Resting his back on the tree, the squirrel stared into the moonlit night with closed eyes and shattered heart.

Vatra heard a snap and looked round angrily. There stood Ervoyce leaning on Arya's shoulder and she saw a look of pain, a deep sorrow and worst of all disappointment and what was left of her broken heart snapped in half. The light in her eyes was gone and she felt a jarring pain in her soul, a longing and a loos. As if some one had punched her in the stomach. "Ervoyce," She whispered and then she fell, the net cut loos. She landed hard on the ground but she did not move from where she fell. Lying on her back she looked up at the sky and she emptied her soul to it and cried, she cried with the sky, and the rain, and the dead who had been lost, and especially with another black squirrel sitting under a tree not far off.

It was all her fault a voice said in her head, Just like all the times before, and you will never change, you are still the same as you where last season nothing is different and you where better off then. She let out a wail and she cried, She cried for her broken heart, and Zanga, and for Ervoyce who she had lost, and she realized how much she cared. How much she cared about what he thought. She realized that she loved him and he was gone...

Bryant listening, clenching his jaw to keep from screaming, losing it, or doing something otherwise completely and totally insane. He turned, walked away, and started muttering to himself quietly. As he reached the woods, he sighed, looked back, and made sure that no one could see him, then he drew his sword and started demolishing a dead, fallen tree. "Stupid, stupid, stupid! Grr...No, no...Gotta keep under control....Just keep chopping, just keep the sword hitting the tree...Oh, man, that was stupid! In more ways than one...Stupid, stupid, absolutely stupid! Grrr *...That's it, gotta leave, before I lose it....Gah!" He'd narrowly missing hitting his footpaw with his sword, but then continued hitting the tree, as she talked. "No, can't leave...I promised....Grrraaaarr....No, keep it under control, think, breathe....Focus.....That really would have ended badly if Ervoyce and Arya were there....Grrr....Oh, jeez, that was dumb....Grraarr! No, keep it under control....."
*All "Grr"s and "Grraaaarrs" are coming from his temper speaking....And, no, I had no until that this was going to happen until yesterday...
-------------------------------------------
Arya had stood there, watching, and then crying, as she watched the friendship that she'd had with so many of these squirrels dissolve....She watched Vatra tumble to the ground, crying. She watched Bryant stalk off, muttering to himself, and she watched Ervoyce, the worst hurt of them all, because she did something stupid, have to break it up. She watched as her world seemed to start crumbling. She walked over to Vatra, bent down, and whispered, "Hey, it's gonna be fine...You'll see."
Then she walked over to Ervoyce, and just stood there, looked, turned, and left....Nothing much she could do here...But maybe, just maybe, it would be enough. She turned, and knelt beside him, and said, "I'm sorry.....For a lot of things." She touched his paw, and sttod, and left. Then she walked over to Ushen, and looked at him, and whispered, "My world's crumbling. What do I do?" Then she walked over to a another tree, patted the ground next to her, looking at him hopefully.

OOC: That. Made.  Me. Cry, Dan. And I love it!

rachel25

OOC: Oh...it...hurts!  :o

BIC: Ushen walked over, and sat down, feeling like someone in a dream. Something about what Bryant, it brought things that had been locked away in the dark, out into the light.
"This reminds me so much about my childhood. All this shouting, and crying. All that needs to be added is screaming." Ushen muttered, looking up at the sky.

Cornflower MM

Arya leaned up against his shoulder hesitantly, but making sure she could still see Ervoyce and Vatra. "That sounds like a really bad childhood." She said, and moved her head so she could look at his face. "Hey, you want to her the long version of how we got here? We have time..." She said, still looking at his face.

rachel25

"Why not? It's been a while since I was actually with other beasts." Ushen nodded. Enjoying the feeling off Arya so close to him, it was a strange sensation, but defiantly a nice one.
