Vatra saw Raphael back off She was a bit confused at first but then Jantar's voice came to her as if from far away and she began to feel pain. She dropped to her knees and dropped the dagger. Her head clearing she gasped and cried out in pain.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Raphael leapt off the table quickly, and grabbed at the fallen knife.

"Tá sé tar éis tús curtha! Muirear!" The few, unfortunate guards to be near to the trees were shown their way to the dark forest before the attack even began. the otters in the group charged the Southern gate with a roar as loud and dominant as could be. The first four threw tomahawks at the gate... upside down. another group of four followed up quickly with the net and threw it onto the jutting handles of the thrown weapons. Everybeast vacated the path to the door as a bow-wielding squirrel set the oil soaked entanglement ablaze. The falcon dived from a low cloud bank to provide a large gust of air that sent the blaze into a total inferno. The otters lined up into a makeshift battering ram, waiting for the flames to consume enough of the woodwork to smash it inside out. The trees were seemingly infested with squirrels daring the vermin to clamber onto the walls.

Meanwhile, Stormfront was making his way towards the Abbey building with two of the more capable Torrents. They had left just moments ago and were using the hullabaloo to full affect. All they really wanted was to get the crazy squirrel out, and from the sound of things they just might be able to get there in time.

Jantar suddenly heard screaming, and shouting from outside. "Go see what's going on." She commanded the spear, and sword wielding guards. They ran off to do her biding.

Vatra went for the blade instinctively but the pain stopped her. She struggled to her feet using the table as a crutch. She looked strait at Jantar and said "You are the monster, not I," She was breathing hard.

Stormfront and his squad plastered themselves against the wall as the beasts ran by. He jerked his head in the direction they had come from, communicating without speaking, "That's our entrance."

Jantar shrugged, "Whatever you say, you can take it with you to the grave."
She nodded at the bow bearing guards, they aimed, and fired.
Raphael had grabbed the knife, and leapt away from Vatra, he turned wanting to see her struck by the incoming arrows.

OOC: My post was actually just before Faiy's happened, so I'm going to pull a couple of time strings real quick. BIC:

Storm heard the command and nodded at his right wing man. As they came behind one of the groups they traded places and shouted, "Fáilte go dtí an gheimhridh!" before crashing full on using a body shield as a large pushing device. Stormfront rode the top as his companions rolled over the downed beasts. He leaped towards Vatra, pushing.

The other two turned tables to make barriers before rushing back at the smaller squad of divided vermin, consistently using the shield to push them around.

Vatra dropped on to the ground and under the table. Most of them had missed but one had found its mark and embedded itself in her right shoulder. She snapped the shaft off near the head and gritted her teeth. Her body was telling her, screaming at her to stay put not to move to just rest and to give in but her mind told her that she had to shift, though she hardly had the strength anymore.  She started thinking about Ervoyce. She didn't think that she would get out of this she might not see him again.  Then an energy surged threw her stronger than any anger she could conger up. She was going to get out she was going to live and she was going to see Ervoyce again. powered on by this she pulled herself up and out from under the table She could hear the commotion and was met by Stormfront.

OOC: Who is he again (Stormfront) terrible memory I know.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

OOC: He's an experienced Torrent (squirrel). BIC:

Stormfront got under Vatra's shoulder and pushed while kicking off of the table they had dived under. The other two dropped back behind them before rushing back in front. They lined up with the burly shield bearing squirrel leading the charge. The overturned tables were enough to keep the vast majority of the vermin out of the picture, just the smaller band was left, and they were being assailed with a full-body shield.

Outside, the squirrels had been driven out of the trees by vermin projectiles. The otters charged, shields locked turtle style as they hit the gate. They didn't break it, but it was certainly something to worry about. They scattered, hiding behind the trees until they could form up again.

Vatra let him take her weight grateful for the help. She had messed it up badly she hardly cared that the torrent had to come save her. She knew she had made a mess of things but she was not going to think about it now. She had to survive first. The thought of Ervoyce was louder than the voice in her head telling her that she was a failure.

OOC: There's not too much Rachel can do at this point, but I'm going to wait for her to post before continuing. I'm going to be off to work pretty soon here, so it'll be awhile before I'm back. Could you two wait for me? (Rachel can post once, but for the sake of logic, it would be better if that was all. Corn hasn't said anything yet though, so there's that I guess.  ::) Not trying to be overbearing, and you have all the right not to comply, just my personal opinion of how to make the RP the best it can be.

OOC: Sorry, all! Been visiting with family.....*Remembers memories and grins*

BIC: Bryant had heard the whistle, and had been about to burst out of the woods when the Torrent reacted. He fell back, to stay out of the way. He was biting his lip, and had just about decided to get into the Abbey from a tree, as the vermin were quite hopeless at tree-trimming.

rachel25

Jantar was to put it lightly, shocked when all those creatures came barging into the hall. Her instant reaction was to run, and get of the room via the nearest door. Which she did, then she went around calling all the men, and telling them to go ******* kill all those ******* who had broken in. They all ran to obey her.
With satisfaction Jantar watched the go, though these guys seemed experienced, they couldn't hold off an entire horde. Not even the mightiest Badger lord could do that. No, they would be over-whelmed, then killed.

Raphael was laying on the floor swearing his head off. A stray arrow had hit him in the shoulder, and he couldn't get it out. The arrow was barbed , and hurt like hell.
Raphael scrambled to his feet, and gritting his teeth hurried after Jantar. Though he hadn't even got out of the door, when suddenly he got pushed into a wall by over excited horde members who wanted a slaughter.

OOC: I'm going to PP Vatra a little bit with the assumption that she would willing follow the Torrent, fixes can be made if need be. BIC:

The four beasts had managed to barge back through the squad of vermin and were now out on the lawn, rushing for a part of the wall away from the vermin defending against the Torrent's hidden in the forest. The brawny squirrel switched sides and covered the rear, as all vermin vengeance would be coming from behind... Though they would have troubles of their own soon enough.

The falcon had dropped by one of the otter positions to snatch up a bag and was now waiting in the sky well above the Abbey. Spotting his friends and the escapee, he spun quickly with a smile. The spin had a purpose, to throw a serrated branch in front of the doorway. It hit too early to nail an assailant, but it gave off a very dangerous message. He waited in the sky, daring any to leave the doorway and enter his range.

The otters were raising a large commotion behind a stand of trees, bashing shields and howling "war cries," in their native language. In reality, they were just shouting insults, but they sure sounded menacing.

OOC: Okay, so they're headed towards the nearest wall that isn't the one they came from (let's just say they're going left). The falcon is flying too high to be shot, but that also means that if the vermin pay attention they stand a decent chance of dodging the projectiles. He's throwing from the sunny side though, so they better have some fast reflexes and really good hiding spots  ;). (I put way too much thought into this  :P)
