"Okay." Bryant said, then a thought struck him and he laughed. "This is sorta like old times: You thinking up ways to keep me entertained and quiet, while you do your painting or drawing."

OOC: Um Dan unless I missed something I am waiting for you to post.

Ushen smiled, "So it is." But his smile quickly disappeared, and he turned round, "I'm sorry I abandoned you. I'm sorry I left you to father, to be mistreated. How can you ever forgive me?" 

[Cornflower MM]

Bryant was so startled at this his paw slipped and he nicked his other paw. "Ouch! Ushen, what are you talking about? What's to forgive? You got out when you could. " The squirrel said, then sucked on his paw.

"Yes, and I left you. I should have brought you with me, or at least gone back to visit you." Ushen walked over to Bryant, and sat down next him, burring his face in his hands. "I'm so sorry."

[Cornflower MM]

"Ushen, it's okay, really." Bryant soothed, forgetting his paw for a moment.

"But its not! I abandoned you! Some older I turned out to be!" Ushen moaned, close to tears.

Bryant sighed, and out his wood to one side, along with his knife. Moving so he was in front of his brother, he shook him by the shoulders lightly. ((OOC: That okay?)) "Ushen! Listen to me. It's okay. Really. So what if you abandoned me? You're here now. And that's what counts." He said firmly.

"But what about all those years you were alone! How can I make up for those?"

[Cornflower MM]

"BY NOT ACTIN' STUPID NOW!" Bryant bawled, losing his patience.

Ushen looked up, and smiled through his tears, "Just like? Just like, and your going to forgive me? I never even came looking for you."

[Cornflower MM]

"Yes. Now, wipe yore face and quit actin' stupid." Bryant growled, reverting to slang as he always did when very frustrated.

Ushen half laughed, half sobbed as he wiped his face with his sleeve. "I'm annoying, I know."

[Dannflower Reguba]

      Ervoyce listened quietly through the story, only asking a question here and there for clarification. When Vatra finished he spoke, "Well, there's not much to say other than it's a good thing the Torrent got here when they did." Indeed, he could not have done anything more this time even if he had followed.

"Yes but now they know about our allies and we have lost the element of surprise," She said dejectedly.
