A Winter to Freeze Your Heart part 2

"You're welcome." Bryant replied, then he bagen digging into the oatmeal.

Ushen stumbled into the dinning room looking like......well as if he had spent the night on a wooden floor. He spotted Bryant, and made his way over. Grabbing a bowl of...something.....on the way over.

[Faiyloe]

"Hi there," Vatra said greeting Ushen in a more cheery mood now that the oatmeal was no longer tormenting her. "You look awful"

Bryant looked up, and winced/ "Uh, Ushen? You look as if you've slept on a wooden floor. And you're eating meadowcream for breakfast?! Okay. . . .;Whatever floats your boat. . . . "

Ushen huffed, and flopped in a chair beside Bryant. "Good morning to you too. And yeah, I did sleep on a wooden floor last night. I don't recommended it. And meadow cream?  Well, it tastes nice."

Bryant grinned at the expression of the cook, who was searching for the meadowcream. Sighing, the squirrel picked the bowl up of the table, gave it back to the cook, and returned with a bowl of oatmeal.

Vatra started to laugh but stopped and winced. "ow,"

Ushen sulked, "Hey, that other stuff was nice. This doesn't even have strawberries in it."

[Cornflower MM]

Bryant groaned, face-pawed, and came grabbed the oatmeal bowl again. When he came back, it was covered high with meadowcream, and had a side dish of strawberries. "Anything else?!"

"Yeah, are there any peaches?" Ushen snorted good naturedly.

Bryant considered strangling his brother, but went and got two peaches. "Are you happy NOW?!?" ?He huffed, looking longly at his own oatmeal, which was now quite cold.

[Faiyloe]

Vatra started to laugh again but this time stopped her self short. She bit her lip and tried to eat while suppressing painful giggles.

"Yeah, are there any peaches?"

At this next remark She couldn't stand it and broke into a fit of laughter. "haaaa Ow oh haaaa you two, oh, ow stop,"

"Hey!" Bryant declared, a look of comic indigence on his white face.

Ushen, seeing Vatra's reaction, did a mock angry face, and stood up and said dramatically, "What are these you bring before me? I want you to go all the way to the Southern Isles, and pick me some fresh peaches from the peach tree that grows on the top of the dormant volcano!  Go, now, thee slave!"
He said it so loudly, that everyone in the dinning room could hear. They all turned, and looked at Ushen, like he was mad. He certainly looked mad after spending the night on a wooden floor.

This did not help things and only made Vatra laugh the harder. 'Oh haaaha ow stop you!" She said throwing a scone at him with her good paw.
