"Oh, no! Not the evil laugh!" Bryant said, grinning. He heard one of the cooks faintly say something about "the albino" and flinched, dropping his grin, but plastered it on again. What she had actually, though, was how there had been such a nice change in Bryant since Ushen came back into the picture.

Ushen saw the smile disappear, and when it returned, it was so false Bryant might as well have shaved the words, I'M UPSET! into his fur. "Bryant....." Ushen raised an eyebrow, "Don't pay any attention to anybody else. The only opinion that matters is yours. And mine of course, cus I'm that awesome. Now come on, or I'm not joking, I will do the evil laugh."

Cornflower MM

Bryant laughed, "Okay. Just don't do the evil laugh." It didn't sound quite right, but there was a hint of merriment in there.

Ushen narrowed his eyes, and looked directly into Bryant's. "Fine, but you have been warned." Then he was back to normal, and gave Bryant a whack on the shoulder. "Come on, we must find the fair maiden, so we may show her the bedroom we threw her out of."

Bryant smiled again, and walked out. He was wondering where Arya was, but he had a hunch. "C'mon!" He called to Ushen.

"lead the way, and I shall follow you, oh noble leader!" Ushen called, mock saluting several times.

OOC: I've got so little to work with!  :P BIC:

Ervoyce had to pause for a second, his work with the Torrent he kept to himself, little as it was, but nothing major had happened on the woodlander side, "Actually, we're not plotting in-depth right now, we've been mostly recovering from the raid. The vermin numbers rose recently, so dealing with that is going to be our main problem." The otters would be working on that after nightfall, a lot of vermin were superstitious, and ghostly fear was their specialty. They were expert puppeteers and actors, and there skills with "magic," were outmatched by few.

"Well then we better start plotting then," Vatra said with a small grin. A wild flower brushed up against her paw and she stopped to pick it. It was a pretty purple little thing, and she held it up in front of her nose and squinted at it she switched her focus to Ervoyce. "Purple goes good with black," She said and handed him the flower.

Ervoyce took the flower, and stopped to look at it and think. He picked a few more of the same flower and placed them all on a relatively flat rock. He un-earthed a small stone, and pulled some powder from inside his cloak. He removed the petals from the stems and started to rub them between his paws, he then placed the shredded petals on the flat rock and used the stone to grind them down even finer. He mixed the two powders and reached for the last two parts, a vial of water and a blank piece of cloth. The squirrel dribbled water onto the cloth until it was moist. He took the powder mix, and sprinkled it onto the wet cloth before picking it up and squishing it between his hands, twisting, wringing, pushing. At first plain water dripped from the bottom of his paws, but the drips started turning purple. When Ervoyce finished, he spread his work and snapped it quickly. The plain white cloth was now a dark purple. He reached for his sword, pulled it out of its' scabbard, and laid it on his knees in the same motion as he was turning to sit on the rock. The handle was black, but he unwound the binding to reveal the metal skeleton. Taking hold of the purple sword binding, he re-bound his hilt.

He held up his work for inspection, stained paws much in evidence. After a moment of peering at the final product for a few moments, he spoke, "I've wielded a sword almost since birth, it's been the thing I hold closest to my heart for years..... I think it's time I used it to remind me of the those things that matter most." He switched his attention and gaze to Vatra before a smile spread across his face.

Vatra watched him curiously as he worked not sure what he was doing. She was rather surprised when he started to take the petals off the flowers and crush them but she didn't say anything. She just watched trying to figure out what he was trying to accomplish. This evaded her till the very end when he held up the finished product. Her face broke into a wide grin. "You are the only person I know who can turn a flower in to a weapon and a weapon into a sentiment," She said placing her paw on the new hilt her paw touching his.

Ervoyce chuckled slightly before answering, "Well, a sentiment requires a source. The symbol can be anything, even an object often associated with death. I wouldn't have been able to do that two seasons ago, two seasons ago I wasn't here.... Two seasons ago... I didn't have a reason for sentiment.... Two seasons ago I didn't know you." He reached with his other hand and firmly gripped Vatra's paw, "Thank you.... for giving me a reason to truly feel again."

Vatras grin softened and she looked into Ervoyces eyes and said "You taught me how not to feel. To let go of the pain and to let people in. Before you came I felt like there was nothing left for me. I lived my life in fear and isolation. Now I see the sun, the flowers and the trees, they don't mock me anymore. I have friends, I have you. This past season I have done thing that I never would have done two seasons ago. You taught me how to live again. What I was doing before was not living. You are the water for my fire," and as she finished Vatra kissed him, their first kiss for a perfect moment.

OOC: hope you don't mind that Dan thought it was about time, they both know home much they mean to each other.
