What would be the best way to kill a squin?

The best way to kill a squin:
Younger:Trapping it, either with claws or trying to get in a secluded area under the sand. also the "surfacing" technique works well. Its where you poor lots of water where a squin is making it come above the sand.

adult: get it to surface, the cut off its tail.

Elder: Uknown, only legends have killed an elder.

How about crushing it with a boulder?

depending on the size it would work with an adult, if its surfaced. That wouldn't work with an Elder though. These beast typically have no predators while older, so try to finish any off when young.

Just shove some molten lead in it's mouth, poison'll have him dead in a flash.  That's how the Chimera was killed.

Do the squin have claws?

They have two large claws, much like scorpions. Under their belly is a row of 12 miniature hands that can hold just about anything from food to rocks. Do y'all want me to make a profile about the squin?

I can imagine them as a cross between a crawfish and a scorpion; might be your idea, maybe not, but that's what I'm getting. I have a pretty good idea what they are meant to look like, but a profile would be good to refer to.
